Currently staying at the hotel, it previously had stated it was adults only. Upon arriving there were a few families, wasn’t so bad. We left our stuff in the room and proceeded the the pool area. I jumped in the pool and the water felt warm. Possibly heated. We started with some drinks $140 pesos for a piña colada & a brisa marina. One was sweet and the other was ok. My boyfriend and I then decided to try the smaller size at $80 pesos each - a vampiro & a mango daiquiri, again, both too sweet to drink. I informed 2 waiters one had the vampiro remade, the other waiter said said they measure the alcohol, I don’t like to argue so I let him know we don’t mind paying for our drinks but all of our mixed drinks were too sweet so I made the switch. Stick to the cheaper drinks, not worth the money when nobody listens.

The hotel is nice, very quiet
Lack of cleaning in the pool
The food is not so rich.
But you can go out to the center to enjoy other dishes. The raccoon bridge is 5 minutes away where you can find souvenirs of the place and or eat some shrimp.

I guess this is a good option in the area, fair price and clean facilities. Way much better than the Maeva , which we visited in our previous trip. No elevator but it's only a two story building. The staff was nice , the room thermostat didn't work properly, we were too cold at night. The beach area was clean. I guess this is as good as it gets in the beach strip.

What an awesome place! We got the presidential suite (3br, 3 bath, kitchen, 2 balcony). Food was amazing (try the “Marlin al pastor”) access to the pool and beach through second floor is wonderful.
We received a great treat from the moment we walked in.
Staff is great and waiters really strive to to their best. Place is clean and nice. My wife took a spa massage and we used the gym also.
We definitely will come back!!!

It seems to be a good hotel but the rooms are old and somewhat dirty. There is no refrigerator, they did not give us towels, the hair dryer did not work, the pillows were very, very ugly! The sheets were terrible and there was no elevator. There is no one to carry the suitcases, anyway I would never return

Had a great time in this place. The food was great and the employees where very friendly. This is a great place to travel to, if you are looking to stay in the beach at an affordable price. Also, I really liked that it had to pools. I would really recommend this place to my friends and family.

It's a shame and a robbery. When, during check out, we told politely to the manager about all the problems my friends and i had had, she inmediatley reacted in a defensive manner and the only thing she dared to do was to ask with a rude expression in her face: "well, you should have told us before". We said that we had, but then again the only thing that came to her mind was to call the lady who cleaned the room in order to 'verify' if what we were saying was true!!!

I was just down for the weekend and all i really wanted was a place with a window that opens up toward the beach. I was assured that the room opened up to the beach.... nothing was said; however, about the main hotel building that was between my room and the beach. no ocean view this trip!
I was very disappointed with the quality of amenities in the room... the beds were so poor i felt I was sleeping on a cardboard covered with a blanket. lots of kitchenette cabinet space... cheap, white, laminate cabinets like I have in my laundry room - with nothing in the cabinets! no plates, no flatware, only a few Styrofoam cups that were probably left by a previous client. no running hot water in the kitchenette. and I had to plug in the refrigerator... while in my room I felt I was staying in a cheap hotel - Hotel 6 offers more in-room elegance!.
I will say that the restaurant, food and food service was very, very nice, as well as the pools and other resort type amenities. I also found the resort staff to be very friendly and accommodating I was mostly disappointed with the room for the price i paid of about $112 / night.

I decided to stay at this hotel because some people recommend it, however the first night We just found out that everything was a complete nightmare, the staff in reception have no clue of customer service when I complain about the room, which was a mess, towels with blood stains, filthy floors, just horrible nightmare. My recommendation will be to avoid this place for your own sake!

Stay out from here!
I spent 3 nights at that “luxury” hotel just in front of the beach of Tampico, Mexico. Some friends recommend me the hotel because is close to some business that I had to attend. I made a reservation to arrive on Monday, and they immediately charged my credit card! But my travel plans changed and I asked to change the arrival date to Tuesday. They told me that there´s nothing they can do, If I have told them that I will arrive on Monday they charged the Monday night! It was impossible to deal with the un friendly staff of the reception… despite that I stayed there, but they gave me a NO WINDOW ROOM!!! Yes, there was no window in the room! I complained with the unfriendly staff at reception, but they acted like if they were the best hotel in the world and I was asking for some impossible and picky demands!
In short, the hotel is expensive, no windows on the room and, no changes if reservation is made, and unfriendly staff… I will never stay there again!

es todo incluido?
Answer from Mau A

"Perhaps a room towards the rear of the hotel away from the ocean during peek season due to street noise. Hotel is also a venue for weddings and they go on until the wee hours of the morning. Losing the view is better than losing sleep...."
