The locale is unique: part history of Lake Michigan dead industry and part tourism. The motel is on a scenic canal full of many sail and power boats, as well as some old mechanical turning or raising bridges. Lake Michigan and a beautiful beach are within easy walking distance. We didn't expect anything price this reasonably to be this nice.... More

We booked this hotel for a one-night family getaway. We were looking for something relatively inexpensive and within walking distance of Lake Michigan. We walked to Washington Park, which took us about 20 minutes with our two strollers. The room was perfectly clean and I enjoyed looking at the maps and pictures on their walls. We appreciated not even having... More

We saw the reviews and went with them. Perfecr stay. Pete met us and had prepped 2 rooms so we had a choice.. So clean, tidy, cool and perfect space. We shared whole family and were very comfy. The bridge turning was amazing and the train whistle SO American! Ate at the bridges grille on Pete's advise.. DELICIOUS

This is an amazing spot. The rooms and grounds are clean and recently remodeled. Comfortable sleeping. You will hear whistles, trains and boats and of course the Bridges restaurant. However, they thought of that and even provide ear plugs for light sleepers. We had two rooms and used propane stove top to cook breakfast outside in the AM. The employees... More

Nice, clean room! Super friendly staff. This was a perfect place for our girls getaway weekend! We loved the adirondack chairs on the upper deck. We spend a lot of time there! Location was excellent. We were able to walk to dinner and the bars. Definitely will recommend!

What a find!!! Located right at the edge of Lake Michigan, downtown Michigan City, across from the Blue Chip Casino, and steps from a little restaurant and bar sits this little Inn. We stayed in room 6 which had a neat view of the bridge from the bedroom. It was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay!... More

The rooms were nice and very clean. We had a separate sitting area and little turret breakfast nook. Location was a few blocks from downtown Michigan City, and less than a mile from the Blue Chip Casino. We stopped in the little waterfront restaurant for some drinks and it was also very nice. The weather was rainy or we would've... More

Close to the Blue Chip Casino. Suite we stayed in was spotlessly clean. Parking was right outside the door so it made toting our luggage in and out very easy. Pete booked our room for us and we very helpful.
