Not bad for an overnight stay. This is a gated park, so if you want to get in (even to check in) they need to buzz you in - if you intend to leave and come back, you will be issued a gate pass that must be returned when you check out. We stayed in a "buddy site" where every... More

we stayed at MC.CG over the july 4th weekend, driving in from North west Ohio, it was an easy 3 hour drive.. when we arrived we were instantly disappointed in our tiny tiny.. spot it was #47 a gravel site with a small raised 3 feet wide section of grass for our sewer connection.. which was literally 3 feet from... We could not have been more impressed with this campground. The sites are roomy, we had a fire pit ring. We were fortunate enough to have a lot with trees. A well kept private campground. It does not have all the activities a KOA or Jellystone have but it is still very nice. The bathhouse was very clean which is... More

This was our first "Glamping" experience and we loved it!!!!! We stayed in their new 2 bedroom cabin (Cabin #9) and it was perfect. It exceeded all our expectations!!!! It is decorated beautifully (beach theme and colors) and with being new, it was immaculate. The folks at the campground were very nice and great to deal with. It is in... More

We stayed here 3 days on our way from PA to Sturgis. We have a 37' 5th wheel and had no issues parking. Our site was in the front lot of the campground which was on Rt 421 but it was quiet. It was close to Lake Michigan which we were lucky enough to catch an speed boat race (Michigan... More

We stayed in one of the cabins and were very pleased. The cabin was absolutely spotless! The campground sits close to the highway but we never heard any noise from it. Only downside is the sites are really close together.

The Deluxe Cabin at Michigan City Campground is a small, comfortable family cabin surrounded by RV campers. This was our second weekend trip of the year, staying in a deluxe cabin this time. The cabin was very clean, just as described with a small kitchen/eating area, bathroom with shower, big porch with picnic table, fire pit, and a small bedroom... More

Stopped here late in search of a site and was surprised at the cleanliness. Quaint little campground with ducks all over -- my daughter loved it! Showers were hot and refreshing and campground was very well kept up. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good stay while in the area.

Clean, friendly, easy to get to. Pool, fishing pond, duck pond, game room, dog park, quiet, lots of green space for walking. Only downsides would be a couple of older units than are apparently permanent residents that could use some sprucing up (but they are not junky, just need some attention ), and when they are full the RV sites... I would consider camping here again. This is a good place for rv and cabins. The tents are, as other reviews reported, up on a hill with little tree coverage. You will see all the other tents. The tent area is away from the cabins and rvs, so it is more quiet. We did find a level spot after looking... More
