Wonderful Small Quiet Resort to Enjoy and have a Nice Reset
If you’re looking for a lovely quiet getaway away from kids and big party crowds then this is the place for you. We were so happy with our stay, the staff were friendly, the food was abundant (and SO FREAKING GOOD), and they have a number of excursions included in the price which give great value. If you’re looking to be loud and party with a big group like the other reviewer from Mississauga then this place is definitely not for you and yes, you should look elsewhere. We enjoyed how relaxing and quiet it was with couples and small groups. the bar was close to the beach so a short walk, or the staff would serve you right on the beach using a flag system. Fruit and veggie bar right on the beach too for snacks and a poolside bar near the opposite end of the beach as well. We did a number of the excursions including Dunns Falls (make sure you don’t go on a cruise ship day), glass bottom boat tour, and the shopping tour. They also have a tour desk in the front lobby where we booked a couple other excursions at an extra cost including swimming with dolphins and the luminous lagoon. I also did the scuba lesson and then paid for a dive in the ocean - it was truly magical and we saw a large ray on the bottom of the ocean!! All transportation is arranged for you which is lovely - they take care of everything (I highly recommend Carlos and Bones for drivers!). If you’re looking for something specific staff will go out of their way to find someone who can offer it to you or give you the experience you are looking for. Here staff are encouraged to sit and speak with you so you never feel like just another customer, they really personalize your experience and make you feel like part of their big family. Even though 1 week is really only a blip to some of them who’ve been there over 10 years! Great room service twice daily unless you put out your do not disturb card. They even come in the evening and prep your bed and curtains for sleep time! Lots of daily and evening events, it’s really impossible to do everything they have to offer. The first night they set up the pool deck with glittering lights, live entertainment and a HUGE buffet. They had a fire show, acrobatics, piano bar, and lots of other wonderful local acts to keep you entertained. If that’s not enough to sell you, they also have a coffee bar, gym with yoga classes, beach volleyball, and 3 restaurants that are spectacular. Eight Rivers is the fanciest one and the food was incredible. Overall we had a wonderful experience and are crying today coming home to 2 feet of snow. Will definitely be back.

    Christmas
This is the second time we have been here and yet again it didn't disappoint. The hotel is lovely not too big with great views whether it's over the ocean or the beautifully kept gardens at the back. The rooms are spacious and kept spotless and even tho the drinks are all inclusive seem to be sound proof from noise. The staff are great all seem very happy in their work as they seem to laugh and chat all the time. Food is very nice even tho I don't like spicy food too much I could always find something to eat. The 2 separate restaurants offer a la carte menus with waiter service. Entertainment is good. The only critisisms I have is that the dress code for evenings seem to have gone lots of shorts loud tee shirts and caps !! and the staff in the main restaurant seem to try and serve too many people at once leaving some waiting a long time for water and achohol. Having said that we have booked to go back again next Christmas as we enjoy it so much. Well done couples !!!!!

Very Nice resort but 2nd to Couples Swept Away
Prior to booking I read many reviews and wondered if those reviewers were similar to me and my spouse. We are middle age professionals who travel once or twice a year. If this is you we may have common feelings about what is good quality. We visited Couples Swept Away in February of 2017 and would rate it as near perfect. We priced Swept Away again and the price had gone up over $1500! So we decided to try Tower Isle which was reasonably priced. Below are Pros and Cons: Pros: Very clean resort Nice staff, the tennis coach Collin was very knowledgeable and two servers at Eight Rivers stood out to me, Garfield and Kevon. Both were top notch. Food was great with the exception of two entrees at Bayside. The fish was heavily breaded in a Snapper dish and there were literally tiny bones in my husband’s chicken dish. The pools were nicer than those at Swept Away The free excursion to Dunn’s River Falls was nice considering people were paying $35 a head to enter. Our room in the 5th block was away from resort noise and still had a nice ocean view. They do not try to sell you any sort of timeshare (Aberostar was awful about this) The spa was nice and I had a great facial, I so wish I could remember her name. My husband had a great massage by Marie. Cons: the resort’s hallways are dark and unlike Swept Away which has bungalow type rooms with an Island Vibe Tower Isle is an old school type concrete hotel. The catamaran cruise at Swept Away was about 10x better because it is scenic and you swim in a cave. Tower Isle’s involves putting around very slowly for about 2 hours too long with a little swimming in open ocean given as an option. The drinks definitely seem to be watered down. I had 4 pina colada’s and had no buzz but a stomach ache from all the sugar. The house red wine is not palatable at all. And I usually purchase bottles at Kroger for $10 so I am not a wine snob. So overall we had a very nice time. If you have the extra money Swept Away is better but if cost is a big consideration Tower Isle is nice.

Excellent resort. Every single staff member was friendly and pleasant and the food was fantastic. This is a beautiful place with beautiful people working there. We had a great time and will go back again. This was our second trip to Tower Island.

I loved the view from my room and having a walk in shower. The room does look a bit outdated but you forget that fact once you are out on the beach. Their food is delicious and the services they provide is amazing! Top notch friendly caring staff. My room was cleaned daily, sometimes more than once! I had all inclusive food and drink and it was all great from the buffets to the restraunts! I loved the Dunn Falls excursion. I do reccomend Couples Tower Isle to anyone interested in vacationing in Jamaica!

Wonderful experience! Food was excellent, rooms were clean and bright, balcony had an amazing view, beach was small but clean and beautiful, staff was friendly and attentive. Seriously, not 1 bad thing to say and a bargain compared to other all inclusive. We would and will go back and recommend to any couples who prefer to feel "welcomed home" rather than being at a giant soulless mega-resort.

Spent 8 days at CTI. The drive from the airport was close to 2 hrs. Our driver stopped about half way at a small roadside bar. We enjoyed a red stripe and continued on. We were greeted the moment we arrived by Byron who took our bags and directed us to check in. It was quick and easy. Our room had a great ocean view. I agree with most reviews that say the resort definitely needs updating. With that said , the bed was comfy, air worked fine , shower was ok ( little weak spray ). Basically no issues. Food was very good. Try all the restaurants. Bayside was our favorite. If you go expecting a long ,White sand beach , you will be disappointed. This is not Negril. The beach is plenty big enough with enough lounge chairs. The water is crystal clear and warm. The floats are nice to relax on and have a drink. The water activity shop is right on the beach to reserve water activities. Snorkeling is OK right from the beach. There are also 2 pools , one with a swim up bar. CTI offers many free excursions. Dunn’s River falls was great. The snorkeling was good and close to the resort. It was not busy the week we were there. The nightly entertainment was good, the ones we saw. The fire show and Silver birds were fun. I’ve seen Silver Birds before and they were higher energy than here. Maybe because the stage is a little small. They were still good. I think the wood drummers on one of the nights was my favorite. High energy drumming and dancing. The piano bar is a nice place for a night cap, or 4. Can be fun with the right group of people. Bubbles will try to keep the fun going. We have also been to Swept Away and prefer the long beac but wanted to visit Ochos and Tower Isle made our vacation an excellent one. If you didn’t enjoy it - it may be you😁

The staff was very kind but aside from that, there is nothing 5-star about this place. Food was bland, facilities are old, outdated and subpar. The rooms were dank, dusty, musty, and the so bed was uncomfortable that my back and shoulder were aching. The appeal of this place is the island of nudity, where the drinks are free-flowing and conversations are a plenty. Overall, not top of the line but if you find some cool people, you can have a good time.

Where do I begin? Couples is such a loving space. It all started with the reservation team of Krystal and Netroy , they are top tier!. Next, the check-in station, Hopelyn and Danielle are two of the most pleasant front desk agents/ attendants I have ever encountered (the other ladies were lovely as well but I can't remember there names). Now on to the room! The breathtaking view that greets you upon opening the door to our room was divine, oh and I want to big up "Kungfu Panda" that had us laughing all the way to our room. The view of the ocean had me falling in love with my country all over again. The food and and liquor was amazing! Aundre, Danavan and Burger were amazing bartenders. Lanique and Daveen were the very best waitresses. EIGHT RIVERS was the best, 20 out of 10 is my rating and big up Kemar he was a great waiter. My boyfriend was celebrating his birthday and management sent us champagne and yummy treats this was very thoughtful and we enjoyed every bit of it! Thank you! Overall, myself and my boyfriend had a beautiful time at Couples Tower Isles and we definitely will be back sooner than later.

This was advertised as a luxury holiday with 24hour premium branded liquor. The first night we walked into our room (basic) and I didn't want to even unpack. The communal corridor had mould and water leaking through into the carpets. There were hairs in various places, broken floor tiles, dust and cobwebs, pilling on the pillows and our sink did not drain. Front desk was amazing and had us moved i immediately calling the next day to check everything was okay with the new room. For that I did not want to raise anything further, but shocked that linen was in such bad shape even in this new room. The staff are mostly very nice people. Some would grunt and you felt you were bothering them. The beach was well maintained but the pools could be cleaned more thoroughly, we didn't use the hot tub as when it wasn't switched on you couldn't see through the muck. Cons; -The state of communal areas and bedrooms - not luxury in need of modernising -The cleanliness of the pools -When requested was told no lemons/limes to add to alcoholic drinks -Told no lemon when eating any fish dishes -No water skiing available -No branded drinks (Appleton Rum although they use their serviette holders) -Buffett food was okay but the flies were in some, and those that had covers were not large enough to cover the food. It became repetitive and the meats were often dry. -We booked the finer restaurants and were sat side by side facing another couple, which made it awkward as I had to turn my body to speak to my partner and the lady opposite kept looking up as I was looking in her direction. There was plenty of room for my partner to sit opposite me? -Cocktails tasted of cheap alcohol and were not enjoyable, even the soft drinks seemed watered down -The day entertainment team were lovely but it was hit and miss. Several times we arrived for planned entertainment to find nothing taking place. When weddings were taking place it was cancelled or the music was turned off. On the rainy afternoon, we approached reception to see where the entertainment was. We were told in the games room, but we had sat in there for the last hour. So another service not offered as promised. By day 5 we were ready to come home. Pros: -Nice people -Nice beach and selection of watersports Tips: We did not use the Mobay Lounge and swam through customs both ways. There are no umbrellas, so you do need to bag a chair in the shade fairly early on otherwise they are taken by towels for the day It is a very lengthy 2 hour transfer, although we had no stop offs.
