This was our first time at a Couples Resort and to Jamaica… it did not disappoint! We had the most incredible vacation! First off, if you get motion sickness like myself take some Dramamine because the trip from the airport to the resort is long and rough depending on your driver. But it’s worth it! You do need to wear a face mask when you are on the shuttles and when you are going through the buffet line but that’s it! The food is incredible, it definitely has a Mediterranean vibe. We would love to thank Martin for going out of his way when we misunderstood the time for snorkeling 😂 he made sure we didn’t miss our excursion! Fitzroy for always making sure we were having the best time whether he was taking us out on the catamaran or trying to talk us into some other water sport! We were so happy to see Sanjay and Everton at the bar, they always made us feel welcome and always remembered our favorite drinks… by the way you must order a Jamaica Smile, you will not be disappointed! Kenroy at The Verandah, he always had us laughing! I wish I could remember everyone’s name, we had the most incredible service at Eight Rivers, make sure you pack closed toe shoes as they do have a strict dress code. Bayside you need reservations also but is more casual but very nice! You need to make reservations ahead of time at the restaurants as they do book fast. We did the private island dinner one night, it included a photo shoot which us ladies love 😉! They offer a beach dinner or the private island dinner for $70 more, it’s worth the extra money! The beach dinners are on the main beach and in my opinion not very private. We did a couple excursions, Dunn’s River Falls and Dolphin Cove which are pretty close to the resort. They also offer a complimentary COVID test for your trip home. Overall we could not be happier! And definitely hit the fruit and veggie bar! They always had different juices and good healthy lunches and snacks, plus it’s so convenient since it’s right next to the pool and beach. Also use the pool floats as cushions for your chairs! It took us several days to figure it out, it’s a life changer 😂!

Couples did not honor the deal that they advertised and we almost did not go on this trip. I am glad we did! The people and stay were wonderful. I don't know if we'll ever use Couples again but the employees at Tower Isle are AMAZING and meet your every need or request. The hotel is a little older but it is VERY clean and well kept up. They have so much to offer. The selection of water activities that are free is HUGE. Be sure to take the free trips to Dunn's River Falls and the snorkeling excursion. Last time we were in Jamaica, we paid for these excursions and free is wonderful. The restaurants and food were EXCELLENT! We made all of our reservations the day we arrived and had no issues with any of them for our entire stay. Bayside was delicious so make sure to eat there but be aware that it is closed on Saturdays. I wish room service was available later in the night than 9 pm because we would have liked a snack after the evening entertainment but you can grab food from the grill and take it to your room. Overall, this was an excellent trip and I would return to this resort.

My husband and I travel a lot. We typically take 3-4 vacations a year and have been other Caribbean Islands, but we had yet to go to Jamaica. This was our favorite vacation yet! The people here are amazing. Everyone was friendly. The whole place was spotless. I even saw someone spraying down the walls and doorways. Some of the things I liked, didn't like or just some overall tips. The drinks seemed weak. I don't drink a lot and I wasn't even feeling them(this was after 4 drinks). Then we started asking for double alcohol and we defiantly started to feel them. The stuff they put into the mini fridge is strong too. They gave us whole bottles of alcohol for our fridge and it was all included. Almost everything is included. My husband did pay $50 to scuba dive which is extremely cheap. He loved the dive. We paid $10 a shirt to do the tye dye. Of course the gift shop charges We had a photoshoot the shoot was free but we paid $200 for a USB drive of our pictures. The cameraman was the best thing we did. So much fun. The guys on the boat were so much fun. I didn't like the glass bottom boat. Probably because the last one I was on (different island) they took us out into the ocean and fed sharks so that was amazing. This boat stayed close to shore and we saw some small fish and a shipwreck. The waters by the resort are choppy so the boat was doing a lot of rocking. Snorkeling was ok. If you have never been you will probably like it a lot. Again I've done it elsewhere that was a lot more exciting but I also paid $100 to do the far more exciting one.... So for a free deep sea snorkel this was really good. They took us right out to a reef. The water were choppy and that did make it harder to swim but you have a life vest. One of the guys out with us mist have had a panic attack out there. He kept trying to pull on my arm and dragging me under. I wasn't happy but Collin was amazing and got right over to him got him claim and back to the boat. Sailing was great. We went our with Tajh. He is a great guy we had a lot of fun. Teasheka in activities is amazing. (Sorry if I misspelt your name) She is fun, full of energy and gets everyone smiling Jerome was so welcoming as so many others were too, but we couldn't walk past him without him saying a big warm greeting. I hated the smell of the cleaning products (its COVID so they got to use what they got to use) but when we first got to our room I thought it smelt like mildew and was thinking "great this is going to be gross" but the smell went away quickly. It would come back after they cleaned the room but again it goes away fast. The maids are amazing. Our room was cleaned thoroughly once a day then when they came back for turn down service they did a quick spot clean. This was hands down the cleanest place I have stayed. The food was good. 8 Rivers was the best. Breakfast every morning was amazing. I did wish it started before 7:30. I know how crazy that sounds but the time change messes with you. I wish they had art on the hall walls if for nothing else than to dampen the sounds from the halls. The doors do close hard and drunk people are loud. The nude island was fun. They had games going on at the bar so you don't feel weird. Everyone is in the water having fun. It takes 2 hours to get there and 2 hours back to the airport. So that does take 4 hours out of your trip and this is the windy side of the island so the ocean is rough. You can ask the driver to stop to use the bathroom. After a long flight it was needed.

We've been to the resort 6 times, so we request the same room each time. It's a decent size room. Nice shower great closet! Beautiful view of the ocean! The staff!! Oh the staff....always asking how your stay is. What are you doing? Are you going to do xxx today? Where are you headed to?? See you when you come back. Somehow they remember and will ask how xxx was? The food....WOW!! If you have dietary concerns they'll figure something out. If you don't gain weight when you're there you didn't try enough.
