Booked table for lunch with daughter and her husband. and grandchildren. Very obliging with the children.. the food was good quality and we had the lighter lunch. Also good value. Service was very good and nothing was too much trouble.

A great place to stop when travelling up or down the A34. Friendly relaxed service with a more than adequate menu. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Food was very good. Lovely to see it was dog friendly.

The fire was blazing, the bar staff were welcoming and even when a drink got knocked over by accident, it was all cleared up without any fuss. Child and dog friendly. Would recommend a visit for food or a cheeky drink.

Yes there are gluten free options as standard on the dinner menus breakfast requires 24 hours notice.

A few twisty steps narrow and no bath which you will probably need for baby so probably not suitable Regards Mike

Dogs are welcome in our bar and lounge, unfortunately we are not permitted to allow dogs in our guest rooms.
