A Curate's Egg - partly good, partly bad The 'partly good' bits included dealing with the resort before we arrived in Kerala, which was very efficient. The cottage itself (Lescaux) had amazing views from the balcony, with spectacular sunsets and wildlife surrounding it. It had a very comfy bed and a fantastic bathroom, with the rock face actually within the...

We traveled during the January 2015 republic day long weekend. Pros: * Around 500 mts from Edakkal caves, walkable.. rather climbable :) * Beautiful property, feels like you are living amidst the forest. * Nice and spacious rooms, clean bathrooms. * This place is at a slightly elevated position, so all the rooms have a nice view. * Hotel staff...

We stayed at Edakkal unit in this Hermitage Resort on 7&8 December. Very nice stay with jungle surroundings. Our room was facing sunset, so just imagine the superb view. The resort staf Uben and one more guy were extremely helpful. One should not miss the candle light dinner which we enjoyed the most. The dinner was simply awesome..👍👍👍

One of the unconventional places right in the middle of nature.. The views were stunning from the cottages towards the front.. The rooms are average.. The food was surprisingly good.. Do not expect much from this place.. One of the places to visit with friends only.. Do care to visit this place only when it rains.. The experience is just...

7 neatly appointed cottages named after the cave dwellings from all over the world offer quiet and calm stay with great views of Wayanad hills and green surroundings. Staff is non intrusive but provide good service and good food. Highlight of the stay was to have excellent and exclusive dinner in a natural cave lit with over 120 candles. Truly...

I was very much interested in the cave dining experience when I booked this place. I felt that there was a big difference in the images sent in the pdf while booking and the actual cave dining experience. Please see the images added for the details. There were around 50 candles lit in the cave with one table for us....

The rock cave candle light dinner is a must. Very friendly service, Excellent food. But mind the monkeys! Go for a cave visit during lunch time. Each of the cottages has a bit different character - most of them with stunning view.
