On par with a Westin. Connected to shopping mall. Wife went shopping while I soaked in hot tub. We were on a road trip heading back home. There are plenty of restaurants you can walk to even more if you drive. We didn't expect this much from a Sheraton and were pleasantly surprised.
Very nice. Check-in went well. Took a little longer because I was using a gift card. Room was clean and quiet. Skywalk to the mall was nice. Checked out via app. It went really smooth as well. You do have to pay for parking. Using the key card gets it added to your bill.
Chandler was great for valet he greeted me and my family everytime we entered and he always had a smile on his face and we were able to have some small talk with him while we waited for family or friends
The Sheraton at Keystone has been a family favorite since I was a kid (many years ago). Unfortunately, I called today to reserve a room for 1 night (for March 25) and they advised me there is a 2 night minimum stay. Being a rewards member, always making a point to stay at their Marriott brand hotels when in need of a hotel, it was a bit dissatisfying that they were not willing to accommodate us for 1 night. I guess we are on to find a new favorite in the Keystone Crossing area! Very unfortunate.
Did not realize until I arrived that the Sheraton is connected to the Keystone Fashion Mall in Indianapolis. This made for an easy choice to find a place to eat as I was staying one night while traveling across country. Access to the mall is from within the hotel and you never have to depart the building. The room I had was nice but a bit dated. The hotel needs an update but overall is fine and the location near multiple nice restaurants makes for a great location to stay if you are passing through Indy.
I stayed one night while traveling. (3/14/22) Room was definitely run down. I booked a King room with a tub. The bathtub was unusable due to degraded, stained, slip-resistant coating. It was clean, but looked dirty. I put the bath matt in the tub when I showered, just in case. There was a queen-sized fitted sheet on a king-sized mattress. (Who does that?) The furniture was run-down and not up to Sheraton standards. The one saving grace--CLEAN BEDDING and no evidence of infestation. The rest of the room could use a good cleaning, though. The shower curtain was stained and shabby. Carpet needed a good cleaning. I normally would complain about all these things, and ask for a different room, but had just driven 14 hours, was super tired and the bed and bathroom appeared mostly clean. I thought I got a decent deal on the room, but breakfast and parking were extra, so there goes the savings from the "deal" (My fault for not checking the fine print closely enough)…
This hotel has a ton of potential, but it misses the mark in a few areas. Positives -The hotel is attached to The Fashion Mall with upscale shopping and lots of solid food choice options. -The hotel feels upscale when you arrive. -The staff was friendly and helpful. -Large hot tub and great fitness equipment. Negatives -The “heated” pool was absolutely freezing. We selected this hotel over a hotel across the street that was $40 cheaper, so our son could swim. We watched several families arrive to swim only to change their mind when they felt how unbearably cold the water was. -Although the bed and high touch services seemed clean, the room appeared to need a deep clean. Two different times my son’s rolling toy picked up hair that wasn’t ours. -Our room was missing the TV remote along with one of the one of the pictures on the wall. -I know that team bookings are profitable; however, it would be nice if they could be placed on one floor. During our stay, the unsupervised children knocked on our door and ran, stuck half an Oreo on our doorframe, and the smell of marijuana was heavy in the hallway and as far into our room as the bathroom.…
I booked this online 5 hours before checking in and got an excellent rate. I was staying for business, but the clerk at checkin said I couldn’t use my tax exempt certificarte because I wasn’t paying with a business card. The water pressure in the room was superb, but it took a little while for the water to get hot. Access to my meeting location was easy and accessible.
Our family recently stayed over the weekend. We were disappointed That this caliber of hotel would have such rundown rooms. The pool and hot tub had cans of silly string floating around it and broken balloons laying around it as well. If you’re not using the conference areas I would not recommend this hotel I would keep parrot to a Days Inn experience
I have stayed at this property a handful of times over the years and while you can't beat it's location and their consistently friendly staff, this hotel is due for an update. The entire hotel smells like an air freshener bomb went off which is understandable when we got to our non-smoking room and it reeked of smoke (and air freshener). The second room was showing its age as was the entire property. Snagged and dirty carpeting could have used a simple vacuuming. Bed sheet was dirty gross. We will not be staying here again that's for sure.
