From minute we checked in, staff could not have been nicer. Although the hotel is older, it lends to the character. Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, and room was quiet. We opted for the park n play package that included the valet parking and a food credit which was a great value for the money. Location of hotel is close to everything. Loved the bar in the lobby as well. Will definitely stay here again.
Times are tough. There isn't enough labor in any service industry these days, we all know that. Two people made my stay special. Katherine, i hear she's the head of housekeeping, left the nicest handwritten note in my room ~ along with a few items let the front desk know I needed. She put real half-and-half in my fridge for me! Extra notepads (I forgot my pad for a convention I'm attending), extra shower caps and such. Very thoughtful!!! And Eric at the front desk is all that! A winning smile (behind the mask) and willingness to assist with all my questions. Thank you Team Severin Omni! We're back!
Came to Indy for Jam Fest Nationals. We checked in Friday January 20th. before 4:00 check in . Front Desk was pleasant, Room was ready. Room very out dated. Big rip in carpet. But very roomy. Bathroom needs updated as well. Bathroom water ran hot in both hot and cold taps shower and sink. Called Maintenance he came up and Turned Shower and Sink on let it run. Good to go. So we had to do that 3 other time during our visit. 1913 Breakfast buffet was very good. Had Omelette Bar and it was best omelette i’ve had. Wish i would have gotten chefs name he was very personable. Severn bar was very nice and bartender Ethena Not sure if i’m spelling her name right. She was amazing!! Valet is a little pricey ,but what you expect forDowntown Indy. Very close to about everything.
We stayed here because it was a good value, and it was. The tub had rust stains, the tub faucet only worked on the shower setting, and the fitness center was being patched and painted the morning I went in - the workers helped me with the Peloton settings, which didn't quite work, and then tried to work mostly in the hallway, but given the small size of the room, it was odd for them to be working during peak workout hours. They said that the entire room was getting a refresh, with new equipment, which it needed. Those nits aside, it was a comfortable stay - a very comfy bed - in a convenient location.
My husband and I reserved a king suite at the Omni serverin for a romantic get away. The room was not satisfactory. The bed had a deep plunge down the middle. The bathroom was reminiscent of the 90s or before. The drapes were torn and tattered. They were nice heavy black out curtain that at night had lights coming through them due to the rips and tears. We ended up checking out a day early and forfeiting the expensive cost of the king suite as the room was not a pleasant experience. The cost per night was $450?
Due to unforseen circumstances I am unable to accompany my college-aged son on our planned trip this week. I contacted the reservation desk to ensure that he could present my credit card upon arrival or prepay. Because my family's uplanned emergency didn't occur 7 days ahead of checkin time, I'm told that the only way to pay is by ordering a gift card online for the exact amount. No leeway for family emergencies.
This brand has a good name. But not this location. First of all parking is non-existing unless you want to pay $40 per night for valet which is fine. Then there is no rooms device. Room was very small and noisy. Run down inside room as well with peeling wall paper. Not what I expect for a hotel at $200+ per night.
I stayed at the Omni Severin from 8/2-8/8 and it was easily the best hotel experience I've ever had. The rooms were clean and so cool! I loved the older look of the room, and while the furniture was old it was incredibly maintained. It made me feel like I had traveled in time! All of the staff was very helpful and friendly but I need to give a special shoutout to Afoma (spelling?)! It was a business trip paid for with my companies card which caused some issues at checkin. Afoma went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly from that point forward. I've worked in customer service continually for over 15 years and it was obvious to me that she was truly invested in creating a great experience. Truly outstanding job Afoma and all Severin staff!
I stayed 2 days here fri 7/22-sun 7/24 I must say it wasnt what I expected of a upscale hotel. The room was very dated and the furniture was stained with I dont know what. The bathroom toilet ran the whole time I was there it was reported 3 times had not been addressed when I left, its a good thing I was there for a family function and only there to sleep wish I had picked the Holiday Inn at least I would have gotten breakfast. Parking was 45$ per night I used the mall parking
How this is considered a high end hotel is beyond my belief. The hotel is a really cool old building with a great location and that’s literally the only thing it has to offer. It is 4am and 70 degree out and our room and the rest of the hotel is at least 80 degrees. The air condition clearly isn’t working properly. There are multiple stains on furniture in the room. Leaving the hotel at 4:30am with no sleep and wishing I would have cut my losses last night. Front desk was notified upon leaving (much earlier then anticipated) that the ac wasn't working properly and we didn't even get an apology they just agreed it was hot. 100% would never recommend even if someone offered to let me stay free.
