Good, clean hotel, nice view from room 1102 if you like corner rooms. Good time,I will visit again during the summertime it rained a lot this time. Everything thing is in walking distance which was great ........... . ...................
The hotel is beautiful. Staff is courteos. Location is perfect for visiting downtown Indianapolis. Local restaraunts are within walking distance. The connection to the sky walk is perfect for this time of the year. I didn't even need oto go outside.
I loved the location to all the bars and grills downtown plus your a short walk from everything there is to do. Hotel was okay on price $179 a nite for cheapest room i could find but had a good view. Valet was steep at $64 overnight but i hate parking in indy. I can see where people say its outdated..everything was clean but bathrooms are a little bleh. Also we were in 12th floor and when entering the room there is literal corner right as you open the door...very awkward. All in all a good stay would stay again.
We have stayed in a lot of Omni’s and this one truly does not live up to the name. The hotel is beyond dated. The bathroom was gross. The receptionist and bell hop were clearly trained to ask us about our stay. When I politely advised it was disappointing they didn’t know how to react, as they were expecting something positive. I have stayed in much better 3 star hotels than this “4 star”. The rating should be changed or updates should be made. The entire hotel looks no different than when i stayed here 14 years ago. Another suggestion is to upgrade beds to two queens in a room versus doubles. The valet pricing is also WAY over priced—it was outdoor parking across the street. With downtowns continue to increase in crime, we would expect a better situation. Management- if you train your hotel staff to ask about a stay, give them autonomy to make it right.…
Think twice before booking. Really a disappointment. From the entrance to the front desk to the room and check out we were disappointed. After we got out of the car we got a bell cart and when we finished unloading the cart the bellman then asked if we needed help. The lobby was full of teenagers just lounging with 2 liter sodas and boom boxes. We stayed in the two story loft. Room is much smaller than pictured and very dated. Shower head and rod were both loose. No blanket or pillows for the sofa bed. There were people partying and screaming in the hallways. We asked for extra towels and two of the ones we got were stained. Rooms were very expensive for what you get. If this had been a $150 a night I would have understood. Really felt like a Hampton Inn. I will say that when we explained about the noise and food fight in the hallway they adjusted our rate. Service in all areas was lackluster. There are simply too many other choices to waste time and money here. …
