If you like extremely small bathrooms and getting woke up in the middle of the night by trains making your room seem like an earthquake is happening, then this is the hotel for you. Some of the staff was great, but that doesn't make up for all the short comings of this hotel. Terrible hotel.

We were here for an overnight trip. We were attending a Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium. It was literally right next store. The staff was wonderful and kind. They were helpful with questions we had about the local area. The rooms are very clean and the amenities were good. We had supper at the restaurant in the hotel. Very good dishes. After 10pm though the menu changes to a “late night” menu with fewer choices but the selections were still delicious. There are no safes in the room which we prefer. They do have a safety deposit box system at the front desk which wasn’t really easy to access but overall wasn’t that big of a deal. I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The architecture and historic nature of the Crowne Plaza is really attractive. I love the train cars as sleeping rooms, even though I had a regular room. The location also is outstanding right across from the convention center. The challenge is the staff, especially at the front desk is hit or miss. Checking in took way too long for a simple stay and check out to fix some billing errors was a bit of a mess as well. Also, the room is comfortable with all the modern touches, but not a lot of natural light and too few lights. Lastly, $40 a night for parking seems very steep. Next time I will look for another option.

This hotel is located downtown near many bars, restaurants, and shopping. It is easy to walk to many fun places, sights to see, parks, museums, and the stadium. The hotel is in a historic train station and has a unique personality you don't find in many chain hotels. The hotel itself is clean and well kept. The rooms themselves are nothing special but the beds are comfortable, they insulate against noise well, and have plenty of room. The only grip that I personally had about the hotel is the $28.00 a day parking. This isn't something that I am used to, if I am already paying $150 a night for a hotel it really seems greedy to charge for parking on top of that. I guess its okay if you are only flying in for a conference. All in all if I was in the area again and didn't need a car I would consider staying here again.

Great downtown location. Easy walking distance to restaurants and activities. Rooms was clean, service was very friendly. The valet was especially helpful. You have the option to reserve rooms in train cars here, that is something that would be fun to try in the future (especially if you are traveling with children.) Some rooms are near active train tracks, (a train themed hotel, don't be surprised). Because of the active tracks they have ear plugs in the rooms. If this is an issue for you, find a different hotel.
