The Harney House is charming, clean and very conveniently located to walk to the Mass Ave District. Plus there is onsite parking. TThe owner was wonderfully accommodating, allowing for early check in. Highly recommend!

Such a great place to stay. Breakfast brought to our room each day was fantastic. So close to so many things to see and do . Grocery store so close for any needs. Deb was very hospitable. We’d highly recommend to anyone needing a quiet place in Indy.

Louie's Penthouse--the restored attic apartment atop Harney House--is cozy, clean and a wonderfully interesting hang-out. The full kitchen sparkles, although we didn't need it for a one-night stay. Two flights of stairs are a bit of a challenge but well worth it once you open the door of this cool apartment. Harney House is in historic Lockerbie Square, a stone's throw from The Rathskellar and Mass. Ave. attractions. The inn offers off-street parking. I thought the price was very reasonable compared to other lodgings. So much character in Louie's Penthouse!

We were headed to Old National Center to see Deep Purple and needed something different that the same old hotel experience. We booked the Riley Room and we couldn't have been more pleased. It was immaculate. It had everything we needed to stay for a month! The home is absolutely beautiful and built with love. If you spend time looking at the book on the piano detailing the transformation or spend 10 minutes talking to Deb you will know what I'm talking about. We enjoyed talking with her and hearing the stories. She had all the little things covered too. There were snacks in a drawer in the upstairs common area and dryer upstairs which we used to dry our towels after a late night shower. The food was great and all the bases were covered...eggs, sausage, toast, pastries, fresh fruit. Like I said, there's a lot of love put into your stay. I can't wait to book another trip!

Stayed here & so glad I found it online! In town for a Bob Seger concert. Was able to walk not only to the concert, but also there are MANY options to eat at along the way. The inn itself shocked us at how nice it was. The rooms were FAR nicer than any of the big name chains out there & cheaper too. The room was spacious (as it also included a sitting room), loved the garden tub, & the hostess was very friendly & helpful as to restaurants. Next time we stay in Indy-we will DEFINITELY be staying here!

My husband and I stayed in the garden room for one night so we could attend a Metallica concert. Everything about this place is awesome. Deb is super sweet. I enjoyed the whirlpool tub. Breakfast was perfect and so much food available. I definitely hope to get the chance to return.

I highly recommend Harney House B&B! Very clean, warm and welcoming. Walking distance to Old National Centre and many restaurants. Debra made gluten-free muffins because I mentioned my daughter was gluten-free and breakfast was delicious. I will definitely be going back!!

We loved everything about it. The spa tub in the bedroom with the electric candles is a wonderful way to relax after a day of traipsing through down town on foot. The large king bed was nice, and it was great having a separate sitting room with TVs in both rooms. There is a large assortment of in room coffee/tea, and even microwave popcorn above the microwave. There was a slew of DVDs to choose from at no cost for an in room movie. Did I mention the free bottled water/soda and nice assortment of complimentary snacks (trail mix, chips, cookies)? Breakfast was excellent with many choices available at the time of your choice. The location is convenient, and it's quiet and safe. We walked to our concert at Banker's life (about 0.7 mile) and it was quite doable, even in February (when it wasn't snowing). Parking is off road and free. If you are planning a trip in the area, I would definitely recommend a stay here! This is MUCH better than a hotel.

This "home like" B&B is only 1.5 from Lucas Oil Stadium and out of the busyness of downtown! There is much to do in the area. My husband & I have stayed at the Harney House many times and we have stayed in 2 of the 3 rooms and both are excellent!! The Penthouse suite is like an adorable apartment with full size kitchen which is roomy enough to have another couple up for dinner! The fresh & hot breakfast is provided in the dining room and is ready at the time requested the night prior. Deb is the most gracious host!
