Like the other Conrads I have stayed at, this one was no exception to the level of service expected. The experience starts up from the moment you pull up when the Valet comes over to guide you and park your car. Then you end up at the front desk where you check in. But unlike checking in at any other Hilton, there's something about it that makes it special and personalized. You may not notice it yet. But then you realize that you left your mask in your vehicle and you have to go back to your vehicle. Not a problem, they will provide one for you so you don't have to inconvenience yourself with something like that. The rooms are a bit dated for a Conrad, but it's nothing bad. You still got an awesome bath, bed that makes you feel like you're floating on a cloud above Egypt or something... you wonder if that's why they call it Egyptian Cotton. Jokes aside, the bedding is very soft, and there's not a single speck of dirt on it. Honestly, one could not ask for anything better. I had requested to the valet to leave my car out front as I was leaving within 30 minutes. And when I went outside, the Valet found me to hand me my keys and he had conveniently placed the car at the front so I could easily pull out. Got back late and had to find food options which the front desk staff helped out. And at this point if you haven't figured out why the level of service they provide seemed strangely personalized, it's because the staff actually tries to remember who you are and what your name is. They will refer to you by your last name (or any other name you provide them with) even if it's just the housekeeper cleaning the hallways. I unfortunately did not get to try the breakfast which was apparently at the Capital Grille next door, but overall, it was a great experience and would definitely stay here again if I were going through the area.

I have reviewed the Conrad in past years and have always praised the hotel. The staff is terrific and they are doing a nice job keeping things safe. It’s time, however, to update this property. The carpets and furnishings are showing their age and things look pretty dated. Given that Conrad bills itself as a luxury brand, I’d say this property is not keeping up. These are very difficult times for hotels and most are just trying to hang on. I’ll keep staying at the Conrad but when things go back to normal they really need to get this place fixed up again.

They are amazingly accommodating. As good we got breakfast in the Capitol Grille. Desk and all staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Parking off site is half. It get very spacious, clean and fresh. We love staying here and for our easy bike trip weekends on the Monan trail.

Excellent service from velvet, to check in to the room. Had driven several hundred miles and everything was perfect after a long drive. The front desk was thorough in explaining and assuring me of the sanitized conditions. Indeed, the room was spotless and sanitized from the light and lamp switches to the remote and anything else that would have been touched. Every amenity was granted except room service and mini bar. However, there is a wine bar and restaurant on location. Regardless, the room and bathroom are spacious and very comfortable. I’ll be staying again as I’ll be making that drive again in the near future.

My husband and I booked the Conrad Indianapolis for a weekend out of town. We are Hilton Diamond and picked this hotel over some of the other Hilton options, because of the good reviews, high quality of Conrads, and because of the special features Conrads have. Due to Covid restrictions, many Conrad normal items are not available (robes, slippers, pillow menu, Diamond room upgrades, etc.). We get that and were okay with that, just would have been nice to know in advance. We know this is a crazy time and everyone is trying to adapt. We appreciated that everyone was wearing masks and the staff was super friendly. Honestly, the staff is the only reason I am giving a 2 and not a 1; they were helpful and offered to make things right. The problem is, when you are staying at a Conrad, the staff shouldn't have to make things right, they should already be right. There were hand sanitizer stations all around the hotel, they had social distancing signs, and left hand sanitizing wipes in the room. The rooms are just not what we expected, especially during this time of a pandemic, when I would expect everything to be extra clean. When we got to our first room, upon appearance, it looked cleaned and we were pleased with that due to Covid; however, upon starting to unpack, we found a dirty used hairbrush in the bathroom with hair on it and some left behind bags in some of the dresser drawers. Due to Covid, we were not comfortable staying in the room. The Front Desk assured us that they are extra cleaning, etc. and they didn't know how those items could have been missed. They had us show them the things and were caught off guard themselves. We were moved to a new room and the new room didn't have left behind items, but the carpet was dirty and stained and made our feet black and it looked like it hadn't been dusted in months. They offered to move us again but we feared what a 3rd room would look like, so we stayed put. The staff did seem to not believe us about the dirty floor and overall dirtiness of the room. We found that to be disappointing, because they seemed to be questioning us. This hotel is old and needs some updating. The mirror and art work in our room were chipped and looked rough. If your are expecting a 5 star room, look elsewhere. We booked the Superior King Room, and due to no upgrades because of Covid, that is what we got. The rooms are decent sized and have good views. The coffee maker is a bit strange, as it doesn't make full cups of coffee, they are basically Espresso sized. Also, as other reviewers have noted, it would be nice to have a fridge instead of the locked minibar that went unused on our visit. If you want to overlook Monument Circle, ask for an even number room. Odd number rooms face the other part of the city. Ask for a room not close to the elevators or housekeeping. The walls are thin and we were right next to housekeeping and got woke up every day by the noise. Aside from our disappointment in the room, we were disappointed in the lack of being treated like Diamond. There were no waters or breakfast vouchers in our room or anything to welcome us as Diamond. Typically, Hilton facilities make you feel special as a Diamond member, this one did not. We know things are just getting back up to speed after Covid and hopefully this hotel figures out how to get back into the swing of things before they have too many other dissatisfied travelers.
