I liked this hotel. The value considering the location is great. I have stayed in so called nicer or better chains and this hotel was nicer then some of the rooms in those upper chains. The location was great. We bird scootered over to distilleries and also to breakfast. We felt safe. We walked home at night from the field house/circle city mall area and felt secure. The hotel itself is nice, our room was big, the bed was comfortable. There was a coffee maker in the room. The water pressure was just okay in the shower and the bathroom light wasn’t great. Those two things aren’t deal breakers. $20 a night for downtown parking is a deal! Chicago, Cleveland and Detroit are all much higher! I would stay here again.

Booked this hotel months in advance, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Check in was fine (I don’t remember her name, but it wasn’t Patsy who was there the past few occasions) except I was told the pool was closed because they didn’t want to regulate entry via the new (hopefully temporary) government mandates. Other hotels in Indiana have allowed their pools to open with limited capacity, so that was a letdown. The room was on the Lucas Oil side which is what I prefer. It’s not very noisy at all, especially with the city being more quiet than normal due to several reasons. Bed was fine, TV is still very limited with channel choices, and shower pressure is pathetically weak. Breakfast was just grab n go bags, with no meat available. Part of this I believe is also hotel regulations, as they were allowed to do so in Michigan City. I was not asked how my stay was when checking out (same woman from check in). Overall, it’s 3 1/2 stars, but I’m rounding down to 3 because no halves are allowed and the pool was a major thing. If you do stay in the very near future, you will be required to wear a mask, as the mayor has mandated it throughout Marion County. It went into effect the morning I was leaving, luckily the front desk did not yell at me for not wearing one. Parking is still $20 a night. The hotel is safe, but due to escalating violent crime in Downtown, including just a few blocks from the hotel, I am unsure if I will stay here again. Obviously not the hotel’s fault, more of a city government/culture issue.

Hi Keith B, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for posting a candid review. I was very concerned to read your comments about our TV channels and the shower water pressure among the others. I understand your dismay, and I am sorry. This is not the frictionless experience that we wanted for all our guests. I will make sure to share your comments with our team for the necessary improvements needed on our end. Thanks again, and I still hope you would give us another chance in the future. Mike F. This is probably the nicest Holiday Inn Express I've had the pleasure of staying at. The rooms are decent-sized, not cavernous and not tiny -- just right. Bathrooms are updated and clean. Stone's throw away from downtown and across the street from Lucas Oil Stadium. A couple of great places to eat very nearby. The staff at the front desk made sure to point out that they have a complimentary shuttle, which while I didn't use it, is above and beyond what I would have expected. Even got a nice little card from the sales manager welcoming me to the hotel. Great stay, highly recommended.

Very nice modern hotel. Clean, nice rooms and A+ breakfast. Price worth it. It is in walking distance to downtown attractions. No complaints from me. We will definitely stay again whenever we are in Indy!

My dad had an appointment and surgery at Methodist and we were looking for an inexpensive hotel that was easy to get to and with breakfast. This spot was perfect. There are 2 options both less than 10 minutes from the hospital either city streets or highway. Hotel is very clean. Good location. Right across the street from a Lucas Oil. There is a $20 charge to park but that is almost half what most other downtown Indy hotels charge. I also appreciated after we booked management messaged to make sure we were aware of the extra parking fee. Staff is friendly. Has small shop of snacks and supplies. Our first stay was in an accessible room for him and it is one of the better rooms we have stayed. Plenty of room for a wheelchair. Great room in bathroom and shower. Second our room was huge! Very comfortable and nice. We will definitely staff for his follow up visits if able!
