Stayed at the JW Marriott Indianapolis for a short weekend getaway. We selected a corner room on the 33rd floor and had a great view of the skyline and park. The facility only had one restaurant open and no room service due to COVID, but it was still a pleasant stay.

My family and I decided to get out house for New Year’s Eve for a night at the beautiful, upscale, peaceful JW. It was beautiful but this experience was anything but peaceful or upscale. I felt like I was at some low budget hotel, it was by far the worst stay I’ve had with them. People were arguing at the early hours of the morning, hanging out in the hallway with liquor bottles. I didn’t feel safe at all, they were extremely and disrespectfully loud, security did come but nothing changed until after the third phone call to front desk. This is a second visit for me and it was nothing like my fist stay. The beds were comfortable, room decor was great, and shower heavenly. View was awesome! But this was also after I was moved from the first not cleaned room where there was hair in the bathroom all over the floor and bathroom door had splatter spots on it. There was really no extreme measures for COVID which was surprising to me other than facial mask required. No limit to how many can ride the elevator, no seal on door before entering to let you know it’s been properly cleaned and sanitized. Which was very surprising because I definitely expected this of them. I’ve traveled during COVID and these are some of the measures that other places have taken. Upon checking in I wasn’t informed if there was housekeeping available or how that worked. I requested extra bath linen that I received in a bag. My expectations of this place has really fallen. A place that I was pretty excited about has left a different impression on me.

We decided to spend the night downtown to spend a little money. The hotel seemed very safe and my wife and I were completely comfortable. The room we were in was very nice. It was very clean, the bathroom was clean and the shower was extremely nice. The TV was out for a little while and when we called someone came right up to check things out. Our room over looked downtown and it was a wonderful view. Don't hesitate to go here, it was a very nice stay.

I was in town for one night only and decided to choose this hotel to stay. I had a corner King room on the 30th floor with large windows that over looked the baseball field (which was lit up at night), roads and the zoo. At night you can see some of the lights lit up at the zoo. Our room was very spacious, bed and pillows were comfortable, very clean, the shower was amazing with extra shower head jets. I also visited the gym on the 2nd floor and fouind it to be more than i expected and overlooked the streets with large windows. There were no other guests in there at the time, but it was very spacious and had everything you needed plus more. They had free water bottles and coooled towels for use. They had sanitizing wipes to wipe off the machines/weights when finished. They have a separte spot on the 2nd floor with microwaves and ice machines. They also have a Starbucks that i visited for breakfast on the morning of departure, which was very clean and empty. We visited the High Velocity bar at night for a couple drinks. We sampled their signature pineapple mule, which was a little bland. The restaurant was very clean and tables were distanced apart. The only con would be they charge $47/day for parking. This should be somewhat discounted, if not free while staying at this hotel. It is also loacted very close from Circle City mall walking distance and downtown area. I would visit again.
