We booked two nights in cabin #19, in February. The cabin was nice and spacious. Three bedrooms with two beds each and a large den with two big futons (they advertise 4 bedroom). The cabin was a newer cabin. $860 for two nights for 9. Most everything worked. The setting was pretty, with lots of trees around. We had wished we brought our bikes because it would've been a good area for biking. There was a small convenience store nearby, "Pappys" I think was the name, which had a good price on firewood and a small selection of foods etc...and a very small selection of beer, wine, coolers. An actual grocery store was several miles away. The resort had a game room building at one end of the long drive. There they had a pool (closed for winter), pool table and a half dozen or more arcade games, mostly older and some did not work. We tend to not stay in hotels, but find rental properties like this one and have come to expect some things that we did not have at this location. We don't typically pack towels, washcloths or other paper products, we expect those to be available. Along with other small things like bar soap. They had wireless, but there was no chance of streaming any kind of video or doing much of anything online except sending an email. They are on the dish network, so it is likely they just don't have good broadband in the area. There was a decent selection of cookware, but the teflon skillets were well past their usable life. The website advertised you could sleep 18. In my opinion you could comfortably sleep 16. A few changes would really make this a more attractive place for us to stay in the future.

Thank you for the review. It does say sleeps 16 but we do allow on 2 extra in which may be where the 18 came from. We don't have broadband yet but its coming hopefully this summer they say. It actually thru the phone company because that's all there is right now so you can get emails and social network. The 4th room does have the futons and dresser so people do use that for a bedroom. I will have the girls check skillet we are pretty good about changing that stuff out. Towels we don't supply the laundry that does our laundry will supply them for $1.00 a set. We just don't have the room for the amount of towels that we would need. We do provide a lot of things in the cabins. We do send out with confirmation of suggestion things to bring. The reviews do help us so we can look at things we need to change etc. Thank you so much.

When I opened the door to our cabin, I was greeted by a bunch of flies. I should have left then, because our entire weekend was ruined by flies. They were in the cabin, on the deck, everywhere. We couldn't enjoy ourselves because we were constantly killing flies. I personally killed at least 200, and I wasn't the only person killing them. We literally fought over the flyswatter. I don't think they swept the floors before we got there, because there were dead bugs on the floors. The beds were lumpy and the comforters smelly. There was no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands. The grill was a mess. All in all it was a very unsatisfactory stay. We had the cabin for 3 nights, but left after two because we couldn't take the flies any longer.

Sorry for this review this is not a true review. She was upset because we only allow 3 nights on the weekends in the summer. Which she was sent a confirmation stating that. Upon check in she said I only want 2 nights she was informed about the 3 nights was no happy about it. But that is policy and she knew when she made her reservation and at check in. She came on Sunday at 5 to check out which if she was leaving check out would have been at 11:00. The floors were not dirty and the maintenance crew cleans our grill thoroughly .The mattress are fairly new she was just upset about the 3 nights and never mention anything about any problems she had but did tell us she was going to write a review on trip advisors. I feel she is just saying this because she was up happy about the 3 nights. We keep our cabins and grounds very clean. I felt this one needed a response from the owner. You are in woods she may have had a few flies who is going to believe 200 this is a bogus review.

Our extended family of 10 stayed in Cabin 21. The cabin and grounds were well cared for. We enjoyed our short hike to/from the lake, the hot tub, the screened in porch, and the large back yard with fire pit. This is a great place to get away from the busy-ness of the world and relax. The pool wasn't opened yet, but it looked like it was pretty nice. The only negative was that the dishwasher leaked a bit - needed a new seal. The upstairs bedrooms are configured oddly, but the beds were comfortable.

Thank you Kimberly We did get the seal for the dishwasher replaced sorry we didn't have it done while you were here. I agree the one bedroom off the bathroom a little strange. Hope to see you again.

Clean cabins, nice people! Had a great time! Not alot to do in the area other than the lake. Beautiful area, peaceful. The cabin (25) was spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. Just minutes away from Patoka Lake. There's not alot of stores or shopping nearby so make sure you bring what you need. The cabins come with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, toaster, dishwasher, microwave. Bring towels.

We found Patoka 4 Seasons Resort online and booked it without knowing anything about it but what we saw on their website. The cabin did not disappoint us. My husband and I met our daughter and granddaughter for a three day get away. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The appliances and TV were in perfect working order. Our granddaughter fell in love with the hot tub on the deck. Our cabin had 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each and 1 bath. It was perfect for 4 people. It rained most of the time we were there so we could not take advantage of the hiking and biking trails.
