Perfectly placed for walks and hikes in wild scenery of cliffs, gorges and vultures, the posada is a great place with comfortable rooms, wonderful cuisine and a warm welcome. We came with bikes and plan to be back as soon as we can.

This B & B is so beautiful and the owner, Gil, is a wonderful host. We arrived late in the afternoon and Gil greeted us warmly. Our upstairs room had a wonderful view of the valley below and the mountains surrounding the area. Gil also cooked a wonderful dinner and a breakfast the next day. The room was clean and...

Saw a sign on main road and as it was getting time to find a hotel followed it. Certainly glad we did because we found a gem. No other place to eat in village so took the dinner option which was fantastic a very, very good meal, good wines and friendly hosts. Definitely take up the evening meal. Lovely rooms,...

We were the only guests on a wild night with torrential rain so our impressions might be a bit waterlogged! It was very interesting to go down with the owner to the bridge in a brief lull to see the river raging and then the next morning when the river had abated to see the normal levels. This is a...

Just spent one night in this very special hotel on our way from France to the Spanish coast. It is situated in the most beautiful scenery. We were greeted by the owner with a pitcher of cold beer which was so welcome. Our room was perfect and the bathroom excellent. The view over the valley with the river and the...

Lovely little hotel newly renovated with traditional rooms. Very quiet as small village. Dinner & breakfast minimal and poor. Rooms we're clean. The only down side was when I got up in the morning I realised we had been locked in upstairs. I didn't like this as it's dangerous if there's a fire.

A return trip to France from Spain, meant a reference to Tripadvisor for an overnight stop at around the half way stage. Good comments on la Posada meant we booked both ways. It has all been said before - but worth saying again. This is a wonderful B & B, with spectacular views and location. Warm genuine hospitality, and locally...

We are in total agreement with each of the reviews posted so far for this wonderfully hospitable hotel. As others have written, it is tempting to keep it a secret because it really is that good! Hotel La Posada de Villalangua is one of those amazing discoveries a traveller makes that stays with them long after their journey has been...

We stayed at Hotel La Posada de Villalangua for one night on our way from the La Rioja region to Barcelona. We had chosen this hotel from trip advisor based on the reviews and whilst the address is quite different to the one recorded in Trip Advisor, we were not disappointed and our stay was one of the highlights of...

La Posada de Vilalangua (L.P.D.V) is a small family-run hotel that is built and operate with sheer love and passion for hospitality. We stayed for 2 nights during our road trip in the Spanish Pyrenees. The value and service was impeccable. The "1 Star" rating on the hotel's entrance was merely an indicator of the price we paid for the...
