My wife and I take fall trips every year to get away from our routine. This year we chose a couple of locations in Indiana. The first took us to the Yountsville Mill-Inn for two nights where we heavily toured the area. Barb and Allen were wonderful to converse with. The property is beautiful, wild, relaxing and peaceful. We hiked...

We had a group of 3 couples who stayed at the Vacation Cottage for a long weekend retreat. The shrubbery was overgrown to the Inn entrance and it was hard to tell where the "new" parking lot was that was referred to on their website. Unfortunately, when we checked in at 3:30 pm the cleaning was not complete, and Alan...

We arrived at 8PM for a one night stay - a quick foliage getaway. What interesting and lovely hosts! The house is very historic and we got a lovely tour that I'm sure just scratches the surface of the history. We talked quite a bit, (and got to pet one of their lovely outdoor cats). We slept beautifully (not usual...

My husband and I decided to take a three-day weekend before I started a new job. We went hiking at Turkey Run state park and arranged to stay at Yount's Mill Inn on Sunday evening. We were running late for our arrival but the innkeepers were accommodating of our late arrival time and happily directed us to a scenic local...

We were lucky enough to stay in Yount's Mill Inn at the end of August while doing genealogy research in the area. The hosts, Barbara and Alan, made us feel very welcome and were very informative about the history of the house and the old woolen mill on the property. We wished we had had more time to spend immersed...

As soon as you have arrived at the Yount’s Mill Inn you feel that you have stepped back in time. There is history here. The pathway to the river has been there for at least 150 years and probably a lot longer. With a lot of heart and muscle, the proprietors Barbara and Alan have succeeded in keeping this old...

Thank you so much for the detailed review. We love to see what our guests saw and enjoyed. It has been a few years since you were here and the gardens have developed more so we hope you will come see the mature hedges and borders. The menu has evolved some also. Please feel welcome at any time. Barbara &...

We decided to stay at the Younts Old Mill Inn while visiting family in Crawfordsville, Indiana. We spent 5 wonderful nights in the quaint, historical Inn. Our room was tastefully decorated, the king size bed very comfy and the environment serenely quiet. The only time the quiet was interrupted was when our host Alan an accomplished pianist played music ranging from...

This property is located in a beautiful and historic part of Indiana. The Inn and Cottage are part of a historic mill dating from the Civil War period. The innkeepers are wonderful - a very artistic couple. I have had several very relaxing weekends - walks in the smaller Spring Creek are very refreshing. You can rent canoes from local...

Needed a quiet place to relax, rest and get some work done. This was the perfect location. Nestled along Sugar Creek, Barbara and Alan were the perfect hosts. So much history, lovely decor, inspiring conversations. I will be back, and bringing family, friends and co-workers along. I am impressed by this hidden gem.

A group of eight women found this great place after spending the night in a scarey cabin off of the river at Turkey Run SP.
