Very clean secure priceless "home sweet home" historical experience for our Valentines, Anniversary, and Grand Daughter's First Birthday Party two day stay -- four hours from our home. We could have (and should have) walked to the two churches we enjoyed. Great Hosts. Breakfast seemed ROYAL. I am praying we can stay at each unique room in the future --...

Wanting to get away for a romantic evening, my husband and I searched for a B&B experience within a couple hour's drive. We explored Indianapolis and Louisville, KY finally choosing Columbus, IN for its charm. We chose the Martha Room because it offered a lovely cast iron fireplace, a tempurpedic mattress and antique charm. The room was comfortable with seating...

Our daughter had a swim meet in Columbus, Indiana and we were looking for some place close to the school when we lucked out and found the Ruddick-Nugent House. What a treasure and within walking distance of the school. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the house filled with great antiques. Dennis and Joyce were so enjoyable and the breakfast...

We were looking for somewhere quiet to spend New Year's Eve and thanks to an old NPR article declaring Columbus, Indiana as an architectural mecca, we found our quiet holiday destination! The B&B itself is gorgeous! Well-maintained grounds, clean, and an amazing history to the inn. The inn is not without modern touches - ability to pay by credit card,...

Dennis & Joyce have mastered the art of social interaction with their guests. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the antique period furnishings were fun to explore, but we especially enjoyed getting to know everyone during our delicious breakfast. After becoming acquainted with our fellow guests, we saw them later in day while visiting the charming, nearby town of...

We stayed for two nights in William's room and were very pleased with our experience. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable-we had everything we needed and thoughtful extras eg nice frig with bottled water, rubber ducks for bathtub and more. Dennis and his wife were very helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the area and their house....

Beautifully restored home, friendly proprietors and tasty breakfast. Would definitely recommend this for a weekend getaway or a nicer place to stay than a chain hotel by the highway. It's convenient to downtown which has some interesting restaurants and architecture.

This Bed & Breakfast housed in a beautiful 19th century mansion lives up to expectations – an older couple, Dennis and Joyce Orwin are running this place all by themselves and manage to provide an impressive experience in style befitting the interior of the house. The rooms are comfortable, wifi is perfect, and the breakfast was superb with an added...

What else can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? Dennis and Joyce are some of the nicest people that you would ever want to meet--interesting, intelligent, industrious and helpful. The house and gardens are beautiful, the rooms have TV, wireless access, and toiletries in the bathrooms. DVDs, CDs, books, games and a fridge with water, sodas...
