Beautifully restored home, friendly proprietors and tasty breakfast. Would definitely recommend this for a weekend getaway or a nicer place to stay than a chain hotel by the highway. It's convenient to downtown which has some interesting restaurants and architecture.

This Bed & Breakfast housed in a beautiful 19th century mansion lives up to expectations – an older couple, Dennis and Joyce Orwin are running this place all by themselves and manage to provide an impressive experience in style befitting the interior of the house. The rooms are comfortable, wifi is perfect, and the breakfast was superb with an added... More

What else can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? Dennis and Joyce are some of the nicest people that you would ever want to meet--interesting, intelligent, industrious and helpful. The house and gardens are beautiful, the rooms have TV, wireless access, and toiletries in the bathrooms. DVDs, CDs, books, games and a fridge with water, sodas... More

A luxury Bed and Breakfast furnished with beautiful antiques and other interesting conversational pieces! My restful room was first class! Added features were a balcony off the room and taking a walk in the garden and sitting awhile to relax. The breakfast was delightful and plentiful! Wonderful Innkeepers Dennis and Joyce! Highly recommend!

A classic old house set on a big beautiful lot. Its close to downtown and Dennis can point you to all the hot spots and architectural wonders that Columbus has to offer. Breakfast is a time for all guests to learn about each other over a delicious spread and while this is usually not my idea of a relaxing morning,... More

This is an elegant old 1886 home completely restored close to the downtown. The Inn keepers are delightful and are very very helpful. The breakfast was amazing!! They have a full 1 block garden that is most delightful.

Dennis and Joyce were wonderful hosts. Delightful stay. We felt completely free to engage with the other guests or retreat to our own comfortable room. Stayed in the "Martha" room which was quite comfortable.

Dennis and Joyce were amazing. They waited up late for us after driving back from the Kentucky Derby. Drew a map so we could find food late, made sure we were comfy. Breakfast the next morning was delicious & the company was even better. So cozy!

We stayed at the Ruddick-Nugent B&B last night and must say that we had a very nice time. The building has been lovingly restored and is on a city block lot. Dennis welcomed us, showed us around and not only explained our many options of where to eat but also the details to our suite. We had a very comfortable... More

My sister and I stayed at the Ruddick-Nugent House on our way to and return from a family reunion. Joyce and Dennis were so welcoming, we felt just like family. The decor of the house is a delight, lots of Victorian details, as well as memorabilia from our hosts' former Peace Corps stint. Breakfast was fabulous, and I have to... More

We believe in the human family. Our own friends thought and still do, that we are crazy to have a constant parade of strangers through the house, but our response to them is that after 5 minutes, they are no longer strangers, just distant cousins dropping by for a visit. So we try very hard to make everyone's stay here... More
