We have been to bear creek several times. My mom used to love to take the grand kids and get away even if it was just for the weekend. She passed away in January of this year. We always had a lovely time, and was treated nice.. Thank you for the memories we got to share with everyone!

The water in the shower smelled of sulpher so bad it carried into the bedroom.. The food at dinner was very average. I have to say the breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever had. We thought it was so sad for the place to be nearly empty on a holiday weekend. Their gift shop was great and... More

My family and I used to go to Bearcreek Farms all the time. But lately we have barely been going because it seems they just don't take care of it anymore. One thing that has not suffered is the restaurant, the food is still good and the restaurant is clean; They have excellent service too. But the shops in the... More

Honestly, the food alone is worth the trip. Had the best fried chicken I have ever tasted, but that's not all; everything from the roast beef, mashed potatoes, pork chops, beans, salads, fruits, every kind of delicious desserts (cake, pie, brownies, fudge etc.) was all fresh and excellent. I have just scratched the surface and no I am not a... More

We've been to Bear Creek several times and we've had both "Great" experiences and "Poor" experiences. A lot of it has to do with when you go and what is happening at the Farm during your visit. I'd suggest you ask a lot of questions before planning your visit. It also depends on the show you go to see. Good... More

I won a couple of nights stay at the country resort, so my husband and I made the trip to Indiana. We were there in the Fall so some of the activities was not operating such as the pool and the street of shops. We stayed in one of their Country Cottages, it was clean and comfortable, but I think... More

My husband and I went for an overnight concert package dinner/concert/breakfast, the rooms were just average double beds basic. The grounds looked like they really had just been let go though and it was disapointing cause it is such a beautiful area and unique place. Staff was nice, we went to the buffet dinner and the overall age group was... More

Our cabin was not finished or up to code. It was dusty & had large spiders. The shower had a rusty showerhead so we couldn't even get clean. All the activities were either closed, rusty (afraid of getting tetnus) or overgrown with weeds & covered with duck poop. The staff was rude, unsympathetic and unmotivated. They gave stupid excuses or... More

We have been here many times to have dinner and see the show, and have always had a great time. This time we book the overnight package, and had a super time. The show(Riders In The Sky) was very good, the meal and breakfast (included in the deal) were fansastic. Good old fashioned country cooking (the fried chicked was the... More

Although we were only at Bear Creek for the day (did not stay at the hotel), it was obvious that the facility has fallen on hard times. The buffet food was average at best, with the potato salad and kidney bean salad literally swimming in mayonnaise. Jeff Brandt, who was to perform at the matinee before Penny Gilley, didn't show....
