My weekend stay at Murphy Guest House Bed and Breakfast in Bristol, IN was absolutely lovely. From the charming B&B, owned and operated by Ann, to the comfy bed, lovely room and yummy breakfast each morning, my stay was exactly what I needed -- rest and relaxation. The outdoor garden is very well groomed and maintained - you can sit... More

This was my second visit to Murphy Guest House and my wonderful hostess, Ann Andre. I was welcomed like an old friend, and her lovely rooms were just as I remembered. Extremely comfortable beds, and the location is so perfect - accessible from highways, but also easy to reach all the quaint towns and villages in Amish country. But wait!... More

We visited antique shops in central and northern Indiana from Pierceton to Elkhart and stayed at the Murphy Guest House. It was a nice 2-day anniversary stay. On a previous stay we explored Amish culture and attractions. Ann has been a consistent, gracious, accommodating, hospitable B & B hostess and has developed an inviting, relaxing, luxurious, comforting space in Bristol.... More

Hostess Ann really demonstrates her 12 years of B&B proficiency. Everywhere you look, every detail, every accessory, every decoration is carefully prepared and placed to convey a feeling of opulence. Even though the Murphy House is attractively priced, it feels much more extravagant. The hand-dipped chocolate strawberries waiting in the room and the choice of 43 loose leaf tea flavors... More

Bob and Sarah, thank you so much for such kind words. I had so much fun talking with you and learning about your farm, herbs, and flowers. I would love to try one of your raised flower beds. I'm really looking forward to your next visit so we can chat some more. Many Blessings to you, Ann More

From the time we rang the doorbell until we said, "Good-bye," we were made to feel at home in the elegant Victorian setting. We did not need lunch because the breakfasts were so large. We found a plate of snacks in our room when we arrived including chocolate-covered strawberries with our initials on them. There was a devotional book on... More

I stayed at Murphy's guest house when on business in Bristol. A guest house is not immediately what comes to mind when traveling for business but this was an experience unlike any other business trip I have been on and a welcome change. Just make sure you bring your "Fat" clothes because Ann is a cook beyond belief and will... More

We stayed at Murphy Guest House from the 21-23th Sep. since we wanted to experience the Armish community and learn about their faith way of life. This was our second visit the area and Myrphy Guest House since our first made a perfect impression. And we were in no way disappointed! We so love everything about the place - most... More

Was looking for last minute getaway with my daughter for Labor Day weekend and found Murphy Guest house online as we wanted some place close by Amish country. Ann went out of her way to make our stay special and boy can she cook! Let's just say personalized strawberries upon our arrival were amazing and so thoughtful! We will definitely... More

We loved staying at Murphy Guest House. Ann Andre is the main reason for such a beautiful experience. Her attention to detail and her friendly, welcoming hospitality plus her extraordinary culinary skills made our visit to northern Indiana top notch. The central location made seeing the full Heritage Trail very manageable. We felt like we were home with our best... More
