From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the genuine warmth and kindness of Zach and Donna. When we pulled into the parking lot, Zach met us at the car and greeted us by name. Once we stepped into the building, Zach and Donna made us feel right at home with hugs and friendly conversation. We had mentioned in our reservation we were celebrating a birthday and to our surprise, we found birthday decorations upon arrival. We were given a tour of the home and were impressed with the cleanliness, tasteful decor, and historic preservation touches. Our room was elegant and romantic with a large bathroom. During our stay we were served gourmet breakfast made by Zach, a retired professional chef, the quality was outstanding. One perk of Wampler house, is the kitchenette stocked with complimentary tea, homemade pound cake, and bottled beverages. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to another memorable trip.

We randomly stumbled upon the Wampler House because we were in town from San Diego visiting family, but our nephew had a fever for more than 3 days so we decided to avoid catching his plague and instead we looked for a place to stay. We read the reviews for Wampler House B&B and since they were 5 out of 5, we decided to book. We were so happy that we met Donna and Zach. The love, attention to detail and service was surreal. We had a late check-in and they greeted us with a smile, hot tea and warm cookies. The room was absolutely perfect. Incredibly clean, soft sheets and cozy. It was like we were home. Then the breakfast and service in the morning was outstanding. The food was incredible and the coffee delicious. Overall our experience was unmatched. We have traveled all over the country and even abroad, but little compared to the service and comfort of the Wampler House. We will absolutely return next time we are in town. Thank you so much Donna and Zach for welcoming us into your home. Love, Tricia & Kelly

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Zach and Donna(the hosts) make you feel so welcome. The rooms are immaculate! The breakfast is not your usual breakfast. It is prepared by Zach who is a professional chef. It was awesome. If you are going to be in the area, don’t hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

I had never stayed at a B&B before and my boyfriend and I booked a weekend getaway here. We definitely were not disappointed. It was very quiet and clean and Donna and Zach were amazing hosts. The food was amazing as well! Would definitely do back!

My daughter and I stayed at Wampler House the night before her wedding. We chose it for the proximity to her wedding venue, Sycamore Farm. It could not have been more perfect. The room (Jamison Room) was clean and lovely, with a small deck off the back and a gas fireplace. The entire house is gorgeous. Donna and Zack were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was out of this world. The location is so convenient to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. I am looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Room Tip: Jamison Room is at the back of the house, but I don't think road noise would be an issue...
