We stayed two nights. Beds comfy. Room spacious. WiFi available. A/C working. Selected breakfast items at bedtime from lobby, as front desk not open till 8. No elevator to 2nd floor. Local restaurants nearby. Filling Station (+++++), Pizza King (+++), Berne Family Dining (+++) Mexican (didn't have time to eat there). None open on Mondays! Excellent cheese haus nearby.
The front desk gal was very polite, professional and helpful. The room was clean and quiet (with the exception of the ice machine). The inn is located within walking distance of some of the restaurants. There is plenty of room to walk the dog! Also, there's LOTS of parking space! Oddly, our A/C / heating unit would not shut off (we had to unplug it). Overall, this is a nice place to stay.
The folks here are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The rooms are quite nice, It's a quiet place in a very unique town. I was here on a business trip and was very happy with the accommodations. A+
For a small town, this hotel has very nice appointments. Front desk folks are always very nice. My King bed was very comfortable and bathroom updated with a beautiful basin sink - wow!!! Great easy access parking.
My family of 5 travel to Berne to visit my parents at the Swiss Village retirement community. As always, the Clock Tower Inn was clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. This is the best hotel to stay at within (at least) a 30 mile radius.
Stayed here while visiting Pine Lake water park. Biranna at the front desk was very friendly and check-in was quick. The room (111) was newly renovated and spotless. There is a high definition TV but the cable package is not that great if you like watching a lot of TV. Internet was excellent with good connectivity and speed. Plenty of hot water and pressure was okay. The mattress is on the firm side which I like and I slept well. This place is on the far end of town and is extremely quite. This area has a dense population of Amish who are all very friendly. There are few eating choices close by due to the closures (bowling alley across the street has full menu and East of Chicago Pizza is very good). There is a gas station/convenient store very close. The fitness room is very basic with just one treadmill, a stationary bike and a couple of other basic pieces of equipment. Given the great price of the hotel, I do not expect much more than this. Right now the front desk is not staffed after 10 p.m. but they do provide an after hours emergency contact. This place is about 10 minutes from the water park and I would absolutely stay here again. …
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, very friendly staff. We were looking for a place to rest after a long day of traveling and this place was perfect. Quiet and clean, just what we needed. We awoke the next refreshed and ready to hit the road.
Another lovely stay in Berne at the Clock Tower Inn. This time to experience the beautiful Clock Tower plaza tree and Handel’s Messiah at the Mennonite church. Wow- that was something to take in and wonderful to stay in town.
This is my third stay at the Clock Tower. It is very quiet and I slept great on their comfy bed. Everything is super clean. Breakfast is continental style with lots choices. Very convenient to downtown Berne.
The Clock Tower Inn in Berne is where we always stay when visiting family in Berne. They are very friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the beds are heavenly. It's also nice the assortment they have at breakfast, the checkers, and the fire place in the event room.
