Detailed Reviews
Hotel was ok but didn't have any washcloths. Yellow stains in tub. They have a padlock on one of the exterior doors that were closest to my room so I had to walk all the way around. Staff don't really make you feel valuable as a customer. I felt like I was a bother even though my requests were typical. I paid alot of money for my several weeks of stay and just don't feel like I got my money's worth. I'd say pay a few dollars more if you want to be happy.

This property has the potential to maintain it's 3 star status. The sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, fitness room and check in area are quite sufficient for a 3 start motel. But during this post pandemic period, the motel is struggling, and providing a two star experience.
The good:
During check in, the man at the desk was very personable.
The sleeping area of the room we ended up in was clean.
The parking area and HVAC were ample.
The not so good:
Our bathroom had problems: the sink stopper didn't work and the bath faucet leaked. That bathtub was not clean, and the rust stains were unappealing.
Even 2 star motels have a coffee maker in the room, or provide coffee in the reception area. Not here though.
A foot support on the mini-fridge was missing, so that each time you opened the door, the fridge tipped forward.
Even though the state had "opened", the fitness room and self serve laundry remained locked.
Hallways and stairwells needed a good vacuuming.
The first room we were given had not been cleaned (turned over).
As the second half of this year progresses, and hiring staff becomes less challenging, Ramada has the opportunity to hire and train the staff they need, We hope they do, as the property has potential. But this year, we suggest that you limit your expectations.

Room Tip:Â We thought the second floor was quieter

So I guess they only clean the rooms every couple of days and only give out the ones that have already been cleaned. However, the stay was very pleasant. We walked in to two beds with three pillows on the each. There was a small bubblegum looking smudge on the floor and a crack on one of the doors of the cabinets but other than that all looked well. I should mention I had trouble with my card at first and my credit card company wouldn't let me use it right away after checking into the hotel but it was probably just my card I guess. They were accommodating enough to use debit. There is no elevator so if your anything higher than 2nd floor be prepared to do some climbing. The ice machine was close to our room so that was nice but prices on vending were steep. It was the same price for everything in the drinks redbulls and soda. It was fairly quiet. At one point someone was blasting music in the room next to me but that only lasted about 5 minutes. One staff member broke a $20 for me for the vending but when I went down the next day to a different member he said they dont do that and they dont have change. Opened his drawer and there was money in it but I guess that's not considered change? It was weird. One of the female managers is kinda loud and intimidating to be honest. However I lost my glasses somewhere and she was cool about it and said she would keep an eye out. Even remembered me the next day. Still didn't find my glasses haha. They have TVs and actually a really nice bar on site. The slot machines felt kinda confined though. For a three night stay I think it was decently priced ($236ish from Tuesday afternoon to Friday morning) and aside from my roommate snoring I slept fairly well haha!

I have stayed several times for the past few weeks and there have been several reasons to stay at this diamond in the rough.
1. The front desk staff has been amazing and very polite and accommodating especially when I needed help with a late check out and early check-in
2. The housekeeping has done their job well. My sheets and room has always been freshly done along with towels that are not stained and have a new towel glow to them. The housekeeping is by far polite also and amazing personalities.
3. The onsite restaurant has a full menu and a reward program along with amazing wings and burgers.
All and all this is the best I have seen for the budget oriented. I look forward to my next business trip and stay at the Ramada at Chicago Executive Airport.

Nothing to recommend here. Staff was not welcoming, short answered bordering on rude. We had to ask everything, no info offered such as best place to park, which way to go to our room, etc. Vent in bathroom went into adjoining room so could hear them talking and music playing all night. Room smelled slightly spured. Bed was rock hard. After traveling I was so looking forward to a hot bath. Water got lukewarm, never hot, and water smelled like iron and gross. Our floor was a non smoking floor however smelled like pot and cigarette smoke in the hallway. We realized no breakfast was included but there wasn't even bottled water or coffee in the lobby or room (we found out on our way out the door there was coffee available for purchase in the lobby). Won't be staying here or recommending to anyone we know. Very disappointed.

Not bad for an overnight stay. The price was right. Check-in went smooth. We were near an unlock entrance door where people could come in as they please which most hotels use your room key to go in/out. All entrances need to be secured. The bathroom is small.
Spray for spiders which I'm terrified of. Management need exhaust fans in bathrooms especially being as small as they were. Check-out went smooth.

Nothing stands out about this hotel although the front desk clerk was extremely helpful. The room was basic and clean except for the bath tub needed more of an effort. The location was not the best for the park sleep fly option because of the distance and the limited hours of the van. It needs to start earlier and come back one hour later.

The rooms are poorly maintained, rundown and dirty. No Housekeeping. If you need clean sheets, they hand you sheets to do it yourself? Seriously? My Sister's room, had no functioning toilet whatsoever. No Internet, despite them advertising as having "Free Wi-Fi". No elevator. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When I see the Ramada name, I expected some sort of quality control. Nope, you get Motel 6 Quality at Ramada prices. I will never stay at another Ramada Hotel ever again.

When I pulled up to the hotel I had great expectations. As soon as I was greeted by the front desk staff that all changed. There were two employees, 1 was a male, and 1 was a female. The male was nice and welcomed me to the hotel. The woman was the exact opposite. She had zero customer service, was short with me, and seemed completely disinterested in my experience checking in. After checking in I went to my room, at first glance it was fine. But then I noticed the rust stains everywhere in the bathroom and the mold under the sink. No coffee pot in the room and the door leading to the parking lot outside my door was completely broken and the handle was falling off. The next day I left for some shopping and when I came back my room key did not work. I went to the front desk and unfortunately was greeted by the same very rude and zero customer service employee from the day before. I told her my problem, she took the key, looked up my information, and reset the key. No apology, and ZERO customer service, she did make sure to inform me that the coffee in the lobby was not free and that it only took exact change. This seems to be the standard set at this hotel, I have encounters with other staff members and its all been the same way. Please do not stay here! I wont be back!
