My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at the Lander's House. We had the pleasure of staying in the La Noche cottage which was completely adorable! The awesome jacuzzi tub, fuzzy bathrobes, and convenient in-room Keurig...we enjoyed every detail the room had to offer. The stars on the ceiling were a stellar touch!

They were in the middle of fixing up the main house but the room we stayed was just absolutely fabulous! It was La Noches room. I especially loved the ceiling lit up as if they were sky full stars!! They a Serve very tasty breakfast too! Staff was very friendly. The location is really close to Starved Rock State Park... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in Caribou cottage during fall colors weekend. Overall, this was a great stay. We loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi. Everything was very clean. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the TV and add a microwave to the room.

We stayed at La Noche, which is supposed to be inspired by Mexico. Good: the staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the jacuzzi was nice. It was quiet besides the trains; we never heard anyone else (which was nice when you are used to hearing headboards banging and children crying in hotels). It was walking distance to town... More

Great breakfast both days of our stay. Stayed in the Creel cottage - very nice and clean. Within walking distance to nice downtown area with restaurants, bars, and wine shop. Short distance to Starved Rock.

My husband and I stayed here with another couple to go hiking at Starved Rock and wine tasting. It is ideally located within a short driving distance to Starved Rock and on the next block from the downtown Utica area. The "downtown" (it is literally one street block) has just about everything you need: a few bar/restaurants, wine tasting room,... More

I and a lady friend took her dog Sasha and stayed at Lander's. The outside of the "house" was not too impressive, neither was the outside of the Caribou Cabin, BUT once we opened the door, we were very surprised to find a lovely themed (Western) cabin with well maintained furniture, accessories, a two person Jacuzzi. Everything was spotless. My... More

After being greeted at the door, we were checked in with amazing speed. We got to our room and found it to be even better than the pictures we had seen of the place. This place put us close to the hiking my wife and I love while making us feel as if we were secluded and insulated from the... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Lander's House. Lander's House is conveniently located a block away from the restaurants and shops of downtown Utica, and it's a 5-minute drive from Starved Rock State Park. We stayed in the Creel Cottage after being given an upgrade because the room we requested wasn't available. The Creel Cottage was clean... More

My husband and I brought our 80yr old Grandparents for a weekend at the Lander's House. We stayed in the Caribo and Creel cottages. We had a wonderful time! The cottages were beautifully decorated, clean and very welcoming. We cant say enough about the staff. From getting welcomed by name on our arrival by staff member Gabe. To Bobbi...she was... More

“Our cabin was great but didn't see the other rooms or cabins. If they are the same as ours, they should be fine.”

“The Mountain Lodge is a perfect room for couples. We didn't plan to be in the room much because we hiked all day at Starved Rock, then went into town to eat and drink. We didn't think it was necessary to get a suite. The mountain lodge faces the street, but it's super quiet, and has trees that provide excellent shade and a nice breeze into the room!”
