I am so glad that I didn't read the reviews before we came here. This is one of the nicest Passport America campgrounds that we have stayed at Friendly, courteous check in, beautiful level spaces, full hook ups 50/30 amp service, free wi-fi, heated pool, beautiful landscaping. I would not hesitate coming back here

Odette in the last week-Edit Stayed here this past weekend with my sister and her family since it's halfway between our houses. We had two travel trailers, my sister had 4 adults and one child in hers, in ours it was my husband and I. We also had four dogs with us, three "doodles" and a Siberian Husky. While making...

Based on the reviews, it's clear that Hickory Hollow is not for everyone. We are an empty-nest couple that prefers a quiet, calm scene and enjoyed HH greatly. Highlights include well maintained sites (though a bit small), thoroughly bleached bathrooms and a conveniently stocked store. There were a few families and millennial tent-campers, but the majority of our neighbors were...

We where traveling home after a long trip and stopped for the night at Hickory Hollow CG. We found a very nice CG with a lot of long pull Though lots that we did not have to unhook the car. We have a 45 ft Motorhome and tow a car. Sew, Water, and electric hookups are in good placement. No...

I spent the weekend camping with our RV at Hickory Hallow. The check in process was smooth and the ladies behind the desk were lovely! I stayed in site D2, which is a stone's throw to one of the parks. The site was a cement, pull-through slab, which was nice. Very clean bathrooms and showers, nice staff, and really enjoyed...

My wife and I use this campground to stay at when we just want to get out of the house for a couple of days and want to hike at Starve Rock State park. We have noticed on other reviews for this campground that the management is rude and they don't allow certain dogs for safety reasons. We have never...

Horrible customer service. The ladies at the front desk rolled their eyes at us, scoffed at us, and gave us pathetic and unbelievably horrible customer service. I was too tired from my drive there to deal with their ATTITUDE and I didn't want to set a bad example to my friend's young daughter that was with me at the moment....

Stopped here after reading their sign on I80. Park is well shaded with level cement pads. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms and laundry are spotless. Constant highway noise, not the fault of RV park, would stay here again. Disregard previous negative reviews.

Stayed here one night on our way to Minnesota. Friendly, efficient check in staff, clean, spacious sites, clean showers and wash rooms, and quiet. Good Sam discount was helpful. No complaints. Am glad I hadn't read the reviews before coming because I may have not stayed.

Enjoyed our one night here. Quiet, pleasant. Staff was friendly and the campground was very family friendly. We enjoyed our time there and have added it to our list of campgrounds we would return to. Good Sam Discount.

“The cabins are tiny, I would not put more than 3 people in them and bring plenty of blankets to cover the windows and prevent light from coming in. If it was possible, I would say bring your own mattress so you do not have to sleep on the very uncomfortable mattress they provide.”
