It is the third time I visit Kythira and the first time I stayed in Vicentio but not the last.
The hospitality and the very careful rooms won me immediately.
The location is amazing very close to the main points of the island.
People are fantastic!
Now I know where I will stay when I go to my favorite Kythira!

Confortable, clean, with every utility needed for a short/middle stay, in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by a beautiful garden. Quit close to fabulous beaches, Vikentios Rooms is the best option to visit southern Kythira and the rest of the island as well

We reached the place in a rainy day so at the beginning we were a little bit scared...then came out the sun and we have seen how lovely is this place.
We were 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children and the apartment was simply delicious.
It's hard imagine something missing...
The owners are very very kind and they made us feel more than simple guests...every day.
The village is in a strategical location on the island and you can reach shops and restaurants in 3 minutes.
Vikentios really helped us to make this summer special.
And we look forward to back again in Kythira.
Yasu.

The room is very clean and well furnished with everything you need including an excellent house jam. But the kitchenette is really extremely small as cooking rings so suitable for preparing a breakfast and little more. For this reason we reviewed everything with honors and titled it with a "Very good" but overall we gave it 8 and not 10. The lady immediately replied that we did a bad review, I find this attitude very unpleasant. We will definitely not return to this property, nor recommend it. Davvero triste!

Stayed at Vikentios rooms for 9 nights during our summer vacation. The room was clean, tidy, and even included a small kitchen to prepare breakfast (Greek coffee was complimentary from the host). In general, the location was amazing and so was hospitality from Mrs Katerina!

We stayed at Vikentios for 4 nights during the most busy week of August (14-18/8). The room was super comfortable, very carefully cleaned and nicely decorated. The veranda is amazing and the garden offers moments of relaxation. The owners are very hospitable. They offered us useful tips for the island and a farewell goodie bag. The location is great. Provides with easy access to both the north and south part of the island. The prices are super good for the facilities of the accommodation. Highly recommended!

Situated in a tiny, quiet village at the heart of the island (an ideal starting point to drive around Kythira), this establishment is one of the best vacation rentals of its category I've ever stayed in. It's equipped with all the usual amenities one expects to find in such a rental (A/C, TV, fridge, a spacious closet, a kitchenette with all the necessary utensils - and then some) and quite a few unexpected others, like a coffee maker and a toaster. The most amazing asset for me, though, was the shower cabin in the brand new bathroom, a feature I have never encountered in all my trips in vacation rentals of this category in Greece or abroad.

The owners, Mrs Katerina and Mr. Nikos, have really put a lot of work in their business. That is evident not only in the details, like the complimentary mosquito repellent, the top class linen and mattresses, the everyday cleaning or the immaculately kept garden, which is filled with trees and flowers, but also in the surprises that await their guests. Upon your arrival, a complimentary bottle of water and a liter of juice will be cooling in the fridge, along with a pack of Greek coffee for your coffee fix in the morning or your lazy afternoons on the small terrace. And when it's time to say goodbye, Mrs Katerina will make sure you take a little piece of Kythira with you, by gifting you her handmade olive soaps, a jar of her apricot jam and a bottle of their own red wine, professionally packaged and wrapped for your journey home.

If I were hard-pressed to find one flaw in this wonderful rental, it would be that, if you leave the window open (we prefer that to using the A/C) and you are a light sleeper, the occasional chit-chat from the neighbours might wake you up in the morning. Other than that, I have absolutely NO complaints and I wholeheartedly recommend "Vikentios Rooms" to everyone visiting beautiful Kythira.

We visited Vikentios Rooms with our two children in July 2016 for our summer vacation.
We were absolutely stunned with the brand new and modern decoration of the house, the beautiful and peaceful surroundings, but most of all with the cleanliness...the rooms were really spotless!
I must stress out that the house also had two air-conditioners, one in each room, which is hard to find in other accomodations in the island.
The owners, Mrs Katerina and Mr. Nikos were really hospitable, helpful and cheerful! They even brought some fresh eggs and some handmade local sweets for the children! On the day of our check-out they even gave us as a gift some bottles of wine and handmade jams and soaps, all produced by them...such a lovely gesture!
The accomodation has also its own parking, which is definitely a plus!
The village, Travasarianika, is situated near Livadi, a central village with restaurants, cafes, super markets and lots of other shops.

If the reasonable price per night is also taken into account, then the accomodation is really value-for-money!

I would definitely recommend it!!!

Beautiful rooms, beautiful village, beautiful people. The rooms are in a village called Travasarianika which is full of flowers. The owners are lovely people which always are there to give you anything you want. With their local products as gifts to the visitors. Close to Kobonada, one of the largest beaches on Kythera with a bitumen road going straight to the beach.Nearby is also the Livadi shopping center, with cafeterias, taverns, supermarket, bakery and anything you need. Also very close is the old english stone arch bridge in Katouni, which is the largest stone bridge ion Greece.

We were really lucky to have stayed at such a nice establishment. The appartments are tastefully decorated, fully furnished, daily cleaned and above all Mrs Katerina's and Mr Nikos' wholehearted smile make your stay even more enjoyable! We shall be back for sure!
