The houses were clean and comfortable. All of the houses, Olga, Iacovos and Marios had everything we needed. Host Mr Christos was very helpful and caring. He suggested restaurants and places to go. Strongly reccomend it for winter and summer season
We spent a few hours here. Hired a car and drove around very pretty and lovely monastery. Sat out had coffee and people watched. Fab silver shops and gift shops. It's near the Troodos so we went on the way
A beautiful little village with several tavernas to choose from if you want a drink or something to eat. There are lots of lovely shops selling handmade goods and freshly baked breads. This little village is a must see place.
U can spend 1 or 2 nights in Omodos. Their cafés and restaurants are very nice. If you were visiting Troodos mountains you can pass and spend some time in Omodos. You can park and have a very nice walk there.
This was the third time my Wife and I have stayed in the village houses; although our last visit was 9 years ago, twice in Mario’s and recently in Pantelis we weren’t disappointed the village has retained its character and friendly atmosphere. The house was well maintained and well equipped. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who enjoys a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
We stayed at Olga's house for two weeks. The house is so comfortable and clean and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. Jennifer the girl who came in and changed the towels etc was so lovely and came in every second day, better than most top hotels. The people in the shops and cafes in the square were very friendly , making it altogether a lovely peaceful holiday. For myself and husband the only thing wrong was we had to come home !
We had great time at this beautiful village. Hospitable people, very clean house with all you need, great location and reasonable prices. This is all you need to have fantastic holidays at the most picturesque village in Cyprus!Thank you Omodos Village Houses. You will see us again!
This charming Troodos village was perhaps secondary to our visit to the monastery, but lovely nevertheless, with its cobbles street, quaint houses, cafes and shops plus the obligatory cats which seem to spear out of nowhere to befriend you. We found - in addition to the usual lace and honey products - traditional Cypriot sweets made from repeatedly dipping strings of almonds in grape or carob juices and preservative-free bread which will last for up to a year, uniquely made in Omodos! There was a sprinkling of snow on the ground as we approached the village, but being cold meant it was not overrun by tourists so retained a more authentic feel.
relaxing, in the cottage, with the bakery just around the corner for fresh bread, for breakfast. visiting other villages in the area, waterfalls if you like walking. Plenty of taverns in the village to visit
A great weekend at the romantic omodos. Top quality and most importantly a warm welcoming from the owner himself. His hospitality and of course the accommodation's facilities, in combination with the traditional character of the house exceeded our expectations. Would and will recommend it!!!
