Came across this site while touring north Wales, the site, facilities and staff are excellent. Ok as people have stated it's near the A5, so there is traffic noise but nothing to get worried about, the site is near a village with bus stops so getting around isn't going to be a problem if you are in a motorhome. We stayed there this week and the wind was quite strong so watch your awnings, but overall as said before there is nothing to dislike about Bron-y- wendon

We have just had the best amazing 5 night stay here weather was on our side too thankfully. We have just spent our second time here and we love this park I think the lay out is very well planned as there's no overlooking. Staff are amazing they will go out of there way for you. The maintenance men are also good at keeping the park very clean and tidy too.as it was quiet at this time of year I had put my washing on I was just about to go and empty it to put in the dryer one of the staff rang me to ask if I wanted them to put in the dryer for me which I thought was a lovely gesture so I said yes had no problem with this at all. There's an Indian takeaway near by also an amazing chip shop ,garage and the Valentine inn pub which also has lovely food and is very welcoming pets allowed too.we will definitely be returning to the park again as it's stunning views lovely beach and as I said staff very pleasant. Road noise wasn't a problem for us either.Keep up the good work will see you all soon xx ♥️

This site is very well kept, with good clean facilities and the staff are helpful and friendly. We booked a 4 night, midweek break. We were initially shown to a pitch close to the site entrance, which was sideways on to the sea and, as we were looking forward to a sea view, the lady on duty was very obliging and let us choose from several other pitches. We were very happy with our chosen pitch, it was large and level, with a lovely sea view. However, the road noise was immediately apparent. We expected it would be quieter at night, but ufortunately not,it is constant, day and night and much louder than we thought it would be. Lorries travel throughout the night to Holyhead, to get the early morning ferry to Ireland. The road noise was the main issue for us and was comparable to an overnight stay on Motorway Services, when we travel down South. Please be aware that there is also a train line that runs at the sea edge of the site. However, this didn't bother us at all, as it wasn't a constant noise (unlike the traffic) and they don't run throughout the night. Incidentally, we felt that the layout of the site was a bit odd and doesn't take advantage of the lovely view, with lots of pitches facing away from the sea...very strange! Unfortunately, we ended up leaving a day early, as we couldn't stand the road noise.

Thank you for your kind review regarding the park facilities and our staff. We do pride ourselves on going the extra mile to ensure that our customers are happy with their pitch as was shown to yourselves in offering alternative pitches on your arrival. We are sorry that you felt the road noise was an issue, this doesn’t pose a problem for most customers that stay with us. We are situated between the A55 and the railway line, which we make customers aware of on our website. This makes us easy to access and a great place to stay if you want to explore the local area. Most reviews that we receive from our customers indicate that our location is a plus.

After travelling around North Wales for a long weekend and on our way home to Cheshire, we decided to stay over some where if possible last minute as hubby was getting tired after a long day driving. It was 7.30pm. We pulled into Wendons in the hope they had a spot for us as we had previously stayed in one of their holiday homes a few years prior. Although the office was shut it was easy to book online for a last minute over night stay. We stayed in a late arrival bay which suited us fine as we just wanted an early night and and early start. We didn’t chose electric hookup as we didn’t need it but all the usuals were offered online. They were a life saver and we had a great night sleep. Hubby had a shower in the morning and said the facilities were excellent. Would highly recommend for caravans and Motor home enthusiasts. Area is very close to all amenities, close to Llandudno. Sea views. Will definitely use again.

This site is great it's setting makes it a perfect base for seeing around the local and amazing part of the country. It's excellently kept and is very clean and tidy the shower block is great the showers have plenty of hot water and are really clean and tidy. The staff are lovely friendly helpful and the do offer to put your caravan on the pics if you want this which is nice I think. It's a very short walk down a small hill to a lovely beach and there is a great cycle walking path there our dog loves it and so do we. Quiet at night we've been three times and we will be back again that's for sure have no trouble recommending this site to friends and family
