Detailed Reviews
We had the most incredible time staying at Villa Sôlta!! We spent a week at Villa Sôlta and would not have wanted to stay anywhere else.
Not only is the island gorgeous, the host Zorica is incredible. She was happy to drive us to wherever we needed on the island and was always more than happy to help with anything we needed to know. She was happy to take us out exploring to parts of the island we never would have seen! I feel as though we made great friends with both Zorica and her parents- which really made this trip special!
We had an amazing time staying at Villa Sôlta the views from the apartment were stunning, the rooms were clean and airy; the pool was great fun as well! And although it is a shared pool we felt as though we were the only ones there. In addition to this Zorica’s mother and father live and work at the villa making breakfast and dinner for the guests which was delicious, we loved chatting with Tarzan (Zorica’s father) it gave the place a really lovely friendly feel and made the Villa Sôlta perfect.
During our holiday we traveled a few times on the busses to the other towns and it was so easy to explore the island this way, we were able to visit both the west and the east sides of the island for the day, we would also highly recommend doing a boat trip around the island as the beauty of Croatia really is gorgeous! However, we would definitely recommend purchasing sea shoes from the market in Split as all of the beaches are pebbly and there is not an opportunity to buy them in Sôlta!!!
Overal this Villa is AMAZING, SUPER, INCREDIBLE!! Thank you to Zorica for really making our holiday special and personal, we can’t thank you enough band we hope to come and visit you soon x

We have been visiting Villa Solta for 10 years, can't believe I've not written a review previously, sorry guys!
It's the most amazing place, the hotel is fantastic and our hosts Angela, Tony and Zorica are always superb!
We love this place so much we got married at Villa Solta in 2023, and it was perfect.
The hotel has only 10 bedrooms and a two-bedroom apartment. It has a fabulous little pool, and the food is amazing.
The whole atmosphere is one of chilled relaxation with fantastic food, it's excellent!
You can walk to Rogac from the hotel (which is the ferry port, down a hill in 10 minutes, and from there, you can get a bus to Grohote, Maslinica, Necujam, and Stormorska. The buses only run when the ferries come in though, so the best advice is to hire a car! Easily done from Split and bring it over on the ferry, or on the island (Taxi Solta hire cars, not sure who else)
If you have any questions about Solta, would be happy to tell you what I know..it's a magical place!

What an amazing stay at Villa Solta! Zorica and her family are wonderful hosts and really looked after us; from making beautiful breakfasts, driving us places or even booking restaurants for us-she did it all! It is the perfect location as it is so close to the port and beaches. We would definitely recommend staying at Villa Solta!

This wonderfully friendly `hotel` is not allowed to call itself a hotel because apparently the E.U does not allow a building with staircases on the outside to use that term, therefore VILLA SOLTA.
My wife, myself and her brother and wife stayed here for just a week to celebrate a special birthday. We had a double bedroomed apartment with just about everything you could reasonably want or need. There`s a full kitchen including dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle etc. This despite boarding on a half board basis! It was nice to have ice on tap though, the weather being so hot.The jacuzzi was an added pleasure and made the bathroom complete.
Hospitality comes high on the list at this establishment and kinder people you could not wish for.
Ivo is the front of house man and a charming chap he is,he will do anything to make your stay a pleasure. He took us on a boat trip to another island during which we saw a dolphin playing next to the boat, magical.
We had some wonderful meals cooked largely by Ivos mum although Ivo himself is a chef.
He soon recognized that I was not too good at walking and generously drove me here and there when it was necessary.
This is a beautiful place to stay, the view from our large balcony was one of the nicest views I can remember. All this and peaceful surroundings, the only noise being the calls of birds.I must mention the butterflies that are too numerous to count and so beautiful with some really large ones.
Give this place a try you will not be disappointed. The only downside is that it`s not disabled friendly and built on a steep short road.
One more thing,we were there for the opening World Cup match which happened to be Croatia v Brazil and Ivo bought all the guests Croatian shirts to wear whilst watching the match, what a guy.

+1
When I planned a vacation at Villa Solta for my 2 kids (17 and 20) and I, we all hoped for a nice and quiet place, beautiful surroundings and friendly people. We got all that - and to an unexpectedly high level! The villa is situated overlooking the crystal clear water in the bay of Rogac and the only sound that is heard are the grasshoppers. The family who runs the place are extremely welcoming and helpful, and after a week of enjoying their hospitality it felt so much like home, that it was really hard to say goodbye. Rooms, pool area, restaurant etc. is kept constantly clean. The food is good and homemade from fruit and vegetables grown in their own garden. They even make their own olive oil! On top of that, prices are very reasonable. We cannot imagine not coming back to Villa Solta ☀️.

I stayed for 10 nights at Villa Solta with a large group of friends. With 8 children and 8 adults Villa Solta proved to be the perfect location for a very relaxing holiday. The hotel is located a couple of minutes walk from the port of Rogac. Maria very kindly offered to come and pick us up at the port. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a large terrace with a view of the bay and a small pool perfect for children. Villa Solta also offers half-board which we enjoyed on a daily basis. The food is Dalmatian and homely and we were served local specialities such as black risotto, grilled fish and octopus salad. Since we were such a large group we thaught it could be fun to spit-roast a lamb one evening which the hosts were more then happy to do for us. All in all we had a great stay. The location is beautiful and calm, Maria and her family are very friendly and helpful and the value is great. I hope to go back soon!

We loved our time spent here on our way to a sailing trip around the islands. The room was spotless as was the modern spa shower room. We were lucky to have a fabulous view of the harbor and just below us was a sparkling blue swimming pool. Delicious home cooked meals served in the restaurant were made by the owners mum and all the service we had was superb. Best of all the owner, Ivo, made every effort to cater to our needs, collecting us from the ferry, taking us to the little village for shopping and dropping our luggage when we began our boat journey. We will be back soon!

This small, family run hotel sits on a hill overlooking the Rogac Marina. The split to Rogac ferry is a minute or two away. Ivo, the owner/manager, was exceptional.Nothing was a problem for him or his staff. A courtesy pick up at the ferry, trips in the hotel minibus as needed, laundry sorted, good food, and real hospitality. Rooms are small, but well laid out and very comfortable. We would have liked a kettle in the room, but this was a small matter. Free WiFi was a plus. Overall, we had a great time, and we would definitely return.

We only stayed 2 nights but wish we had booked longer! Lovely quiet villa, though fully booked it felt practically like we had it to ourselves. Great and spacious, lovely pool with parasol, excellent hosts. We had dinner and a breakfast there and both were delicious. Excellent value, we'd definitely return.
