My son recently got married here. We all cannot praise our experience highly enough. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay and the couples day more perfect. For a small wedding please consider here. You get the place to yourself, there are lots of rooms so the kids can be kids while the grown ups party. Open...

Just got home after a lovely birthday lunch at The Mill House. staff very welcoming and attentive, nothing too much bother. We had a lovely menu choice, rump of lamb was very tender and cooked to perfection. An excellent venue highly recommend. Thank you.

Hotel room was lovely and spacious, the grounds were very beautiful. The restaurant food for dinner and breakfast was of a high quality. Hotel staff were very welcoming. They remembered things about our visit to the area that I'd mentioned in passing when I booked, which was thoughtful. They also promptly posted back an item I left at the hotel.

Nice and basic country hotel. A bit difficult to judge as we arrived late and left early. They had a Christmas party there so the setup was not as usual. They did warn me when I booked so there was no surprise. Breakfast was good standard English cooked breakfast. There was not much too choose from but, it was all...

Having attended a wedding a couple of years ago I was looking forward to my stay at the Mill house. The place is looking tired and in need of some work. I arrived in the evening and wanted to eat. The venison was well cooked and served well. The room was not so good. The shower was difficult to control...

Well my wife and I visited here after here about it being voted one on the best... For us we found it too old fashioned and found the staff to be over attentive if not maybe too personal when your trying to have a romantic meal sometimes you just want to be left alone not followed when you go to...

Met as I walked in the door by a delightful young lady - it became clear that she and a colleague were running the hotel that evening - they were doing a great job Dinner in the lounge was fine - breakfast starting at 7am is really a bit late but the lady in charge (on her own) served me...

The title of this review says it all. Lorna and Kim organised a perfect Sunday lunch for us and our 30 guests. The food was exquisite, service from Nathan, Ellie and Megan was excellent and the room with its outlook over the garden just lovely. A big thank you to everyone including the chefs for catering for us all in...

I stayed at the Mill House for two days to attend my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. As a professional registrar of marriages, in another part of the country, I have worked at over 500 similar events in the past 5 years and have had the experience of seeing every level of hotel wedding coordination. I have to say that the...

What an absolute gem and amazing wedding venue! We had our wedding at The Mill House on Thursday August 4th 2016, including the ceremony, and I just can't thank them enough for everything: it was perfect from start to finish! It is a real lovely family-run hotel who care about every client! Mark and Kim (the owners) are truly hands...
