My daughter stayed here borrowing our car. The car's catalytic converter was stolen. Skokie police records showed two other thefts at the location the same night, and another earlier in the month. The parking lot has many signs disclaiming hotel responsibility and no security cameras or security personnel. Hybrid cars especially are targets of catalytic converter theft.

My husband stays at your hotel regularly and the service is always great. He stayed this week (1/30-2/2/23). His birthday was 1/31. I called the front desk to see if I could send an amenity to make his day special. Alice, at the Front Desk could not have been more helpful or friendly. She arranged a wonderful basket and a bottle of wine. She called me when it was delivered and really made his day special. It is that level of detail that sets this hotel apart.

This hotel charged me one night fee for no show when I cancelled the reservation. The dates were off, but there was a verbal change order that was not honored. After spending weeks trying to get this corrected, all I got was sorry, we can’t do it. As a customer courtesy for a Hilton Honors member they could easily gave done this. Instead they chose not to. The credit card company was unable to correct this either. I would think long and hard before booking with Hilton and especially this property.

One night for a king bedroom cost $450. The cooling system was inadequate. The sink did not drain properly. The sign are to the elevators was nonexistent (there are two towers, but the directions to the smaller of the two where my box was were absent). Staff was almost non-existent. I had to wait to check in because the desk hostess was conversing with a friend or colleague for several minutes with her back turned to the desk. When her friend finally noticed me just standing there, the employee seemed at best startled, at worst annoyed. Do not stay here.

Updated rooms, walk-in shower, good spray & towels. No breakfast, only expensive snack bar food. Front desk efficient but not knowable about neighborhood services, stores, etc. Lobby needs to be updated but its clean hotel. Need more spaces for people to sit & visit (were there on rainy day so couldn't sit outside on their patio). Quiet. This is third time we've stayed here.

The lobby is large and very welcoming. Javonie was able to help me get in my room in a timely manner. He was very helpful and insightful. The elevators are a little far from the lobby. The room was nice and clean.

The night auditor, Annalisa I think her name was, is kind and knowledgeable. The hotel is beautiful. It is clean. Great pillows. and who can forget about the DoubleTree cookie? Delicious as always and was an available at my 2 AM arrival. The only downside is the well appointed bathroom is tight. They have truly made my first trip to Chicago memorable.

I stayed in room 701 on Saturday night. The noise from a private party on the 12th floor was intolerable and made it impossible for me to get a good night's sleep. The noise started around 8 pm and persisted until I left the room (11pm). I checked the decibel and it was max 60.4, and peak 69.4. You can feel the wall vibrates with beats. I called the front desk, and the male service representative asked that I wanted a different room, so I asked for it. I waited more than 10 minutes but had yet to receive a response from the front desk. I packed my belongings and went down to the front desk. The male service representative did not call me back. Instead, he called the private party to ask them to decrease the volume. The manager told me she had never heard of any guest complaint regarding private party noise. Her argument is weird because I stayed in 701, and the party was on the 12th floor. I complained this to the Hilton guest service. They answered 33000 points will be given to me. However, the free night certificate was worth up to 95000 points. Do not recommend this place if you want to sleep unless you are deaf and seniors having listening problems. Use your money wisely.…

I stay here often when visiting my father locally. Beds are super comfortable and the hotel is always clean. Front desk is always staffed with competent employees. Showers are good. Right across from Panera if you want to meet someone, and walkable to Old Orchard Mall.
