Bad smell as you walk into your room. Old smoke. Light switchs intermittently work, must flip them back and forth multiple times. Bathroom is the worst. I have stayed in hotels at $22 per night with better rooms. Carpet was sticky on my bare feet. Socks needed to walk around. Bed was a 5 out of ten. Holes in the sheets, but at least it smelled like they washed them. There will not be a next time for this place. Morning counter staff was not easy to work with. He did not want to come over to help get a taxi back the airport. I guess I inconvenience him. Even after I made eye contact, I had to call him to get any help at all.
Buyers beware! They quote different prices than when you show up to check in. Also, not clean. We had stayed there for the convienince as close to airport. However, we can not express enough that they should not have anyone stay there. We actually had a situation where our flight had been delayed coming back on the park sleep fly. We called to make them aware of this as a plane crashed at our airport where we were needing to take off from. We were told by the hotel all will be fine. However, we finally got back to the hotel and the Manager decided to take us off the park sleep fly package (because we did not get in until next day) and charge rate on parking days (individually). We pleaded with her and she still insisted. So we called our credit card company they fought for us and our pricing as park sleep and fly was met. Point being, we should not have had to do that. They should have worked with us as we are only talking a day later arrival. Nobody should have to deal with this! If you want a clean, honest place to stay before your flight, there are places right next store! Clean too!…
Economical nice place to stay, neat big size rooms with fridge and micro. Daily house keeping. plenty storage space. easy to access rooms.Although continental breakfast included should not expect more than corn flakes and coffee. One must be prepared to have things in room from next door shop. Only minus, mixer taps in bathroom and basin. Most probably from victorian times. likely to get scalding hot or freezing cold water, can be adjusted with finesse
This property appears to be a repurposed Howard Johnson’s. The shape of the sign and a piece of memorabilia on the wall were good clues. The only good factors that I can mention are that the bed was very comfortable and many of the shuttle drivers were very nice and professional. They advertise a continental breakfast on site. What they have is a choice of two cereals and wrapped crackers. There is coffee but we found that it was not attended, as once the two pots were empty, they remained empty. When I did have a cup, it had grounds in it. The room had a toilet with slow filling tank. The shower valve in the tub was stuck in the open position. The toilet paper falls apart. The microwave oven is being held together with duct tape. Most of the shuttle drivers and desk clerks were friendly. The lady in the daytime seemed a bit snobby though. The room cleaning service is very minimal. We stayed 5 nights and the bed was made only once. The room was never vacuumed during our stay. The garbage was emptied on when we asked the cleaning man to do it. …
Not a very well kept up place ! Needs repairs ! A lot of stuff like the microwave is held together with duct tape . The shower only works . Can’t have a bath even if you wanted to . Have to be careful turning on the water as the showed doesn’t turn off only if you shut the water off ! The chair by the window don’t even sit in it just by looking at it you can tell it was so saggy! The couch area was good but even when they came in to Clean wasn’t a very good job! There was an elastic hair tie from when we arrived and still there when we left! Plus we had dropped crumbs on the floor as well and they were there the entire time ! I don’t think they ever dust! Turned the lamp on the one on the desk and nothing but dust and the heat register was extremely dusty too ! Most of the staff were pleasant! A couple of the shuttle drivers were really nice ! The continental breakfast was cereal , plus some crackers and coffee ! And today there was a container of croissants ! The coffee had grounds in it after drinking! The bed was actually decently comfortable! Other than that not a great place !…
