This was a nice hotel. Not to far from the airport. The airport shuttle was available on request. The room was big. Separate sitting and sleeping areas. Comfortable bed with flat pillows but you can just use two. Stand alone shower and a multi setting shower head. Not the greatest water pressure though. There’s stores and restaurants within walking distance. The gym looked big. I got in rather late though so I didn’t get a chance to use it. Part of the hotel is under construction but it didn’t interrupt my stay at all.

For the record I am a high status Marriott elite member and travel a lot. And I don't seem to stay at too many Sheraton properties. I am currently checked in here and let me be clear, ignore the previous negative review(there is NO bad smell at all)!! This hotel is wonderful and so are the hard working staff! Yes it is currently a different atmosphere in the height of Covid19. There aren't nearly as many travelers and it definitely takes some getting used to. The Sheraton Suites Chicago O'Hare though makes you feel welcome the moment you check in. I can't remember a hotel stay in a long time where I received so many smiles. Friendly and attentive describes all of them. Leah at the front desk has really gone above and beyond. Need extra towels? She brings them up. Need some utensils? Leah's there again. I call her a rock star and I mean every word. Jerri is also at the front desk and just has a welcoming personality. Braulio at the desk has been really helpful when i am getting packages delivered and just fun to talk to(Actually everyone there is). Oscar i have only recently met but definitely is friendly too and very professional. John the director of engineering is so darn down to earth and will help get any maintenance problem addressed right away. Had an early tv issue and John was invaluable in getting it fixed. His awesome personality is infectious. And yes, they all wear masks. The 2 top mgrs are Brandon who has really been helpful to me if I need something and super nice. And the GM's name is Russell who is probably 1 of the top 3 GM's I have ever met and gotten to know. He puts his heart and soul into this hotel and it shows. And with Covid there are of course things that are now different like no restaurant and limited staff at times. So you see Russell doing everything from answering phones at times to his GM work. And everything in-between. He is a damn good GM trust me and I enjoy speaking with him. As for the hotel itself, there is definitely some construction but it's on and off. If you are in the room you can't hear any of it. I can't wait to see the end result. The rooms are nice imo, the tv's are huge. 55 inches with HD. Lots of channels and 4 HBO's. Plus there are streaming services available on the TV like Netflix and HBO and Youtube. This hotel is made up of suites and my room is really big and spacious. Fitness Center is really big and well-equipped. Restaurant isn't open but they have a limited menu to choose from most days. And because of Covid the Club lounge isn't yet open. Look the bottom line for me is this: I will be at this hotel for awhile yet and am really glad I'm here. The location is nice, lots of nearby restaurants and stores, near the airport but not close enough to hear the planes, and a truly awesome staff. i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely keep coming back.

I have been traveling on business for over 20 years and this place is last on my list. To start the room smelled terrible. So bad that I needed to open the door and window to air it out. Not sure if it was the carpets or the plumbing. Plugged in my phone in the handy USB charger on the night stand to charge my now dead phone. Returned 35min later only to discover that it was not charging. The flashing clock next to it should have been a clue that the outlet it was plugged into was not working. Bed was comfortable but the ungodly sound of the maid banging the edge of the card on the door at 9:30AM even though I had a 2:30PM check out scheduled, was not a welcoming good morning! I realize there is a Pandemic going on but I do not see that as a reason to let the hotel go. Considering there were a total of 5 guests in the hotel (which I realized why at this point) I was a little surprised when the maid asked me if I wanted the room cleaned. I was not surprised when the front desk receptionist did not ask me about my stay when I was leaving since I asked her earlier that morning why they were banging on my door when I had a late checkout. Not even a bottle of water! Management needs to take a hard look at this place.

I stay in this hotel frequently for work travel & love this place! They are currently getting a facelift, but don't let that scare you away! From friendly faces on the airport shuttle like Ray, Danny, Margarita, Lou and others to the wonderful front desk staff of Narda, Brenda, Braulio, Brandon, Carol , Russell , Kevin, Leah, Johan and MANY more -- you will get amazing service! The beds are super comfy and the rooms are recently updated and give you a nice space to stay or work. Myrick's -the bar/restaurant and lounge have nice food and service + are staffed with fun people like Christina, Mario, Jim, Anna & Rosa who will make you feel right at home and well fed. Clearly, this place is filled with WONDERFUL people ( and I hate that I probably missed some good ones) -- which makes a BIG difference if you are on the road a lot -- or even a little! It is a nice place to call a home away from home! If you can't tell , I am a super fan -- but it is because of some INCREDIBLE SERVICE!

I traveled to Chicago for business purposes in January and February, staying at the Sheraton Suites both times. From the Puertorrican shuttle driver to the housekeeping personnel, all of them were very kind. Narda Zapata and her Puertorrican front desk co-worker always welcome me with a smile and willing to help with any questions, issues and directions. Thank you all!
