The only way it could be better is if it were equidistant to both airports. Full service hotels have used covid as an excuse but Loewes does not. The quality of the staff is impeccable. The bed was divine. If any con I’d say the shower. Since it’s not enclosed completely there’s a little breeze coming in so I had to stand under the shower spray to stay warm. I’d still go back in a heartbeat. Was on a company trip so if you’re looking for ease on your wallet, this probably isn’t the hotel for you. Hope my company puts us up again. It was my 2nd trip in 2 months. Lovely hotel.
Best rooms, beds, staff, cleanliness, bus shuttle, and parking. Pilots and flight crew stay here, you know it’s the best. Great price on park and stay. Coffee shop and gift store. 5 minutes to Ohare Airport.
Before we launch to our vacations from O’Hare Airport, we always stay at The Loews hotel. It is super convenient and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes and runs on time. The restaurant next to the lobby, The Ashburn, is a great place to grab a cocktail and dinner. Can’t wait to start our next vacation from here!
Hotel is very nice. No complaints. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and lobby was beautiful. Only stayed two nights but would stay here again. Very close to airport but not to far away from downtown. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Didn’t get any names but they were all great.
This hotel has great customer service with very reliable shuttle to and from the airport every 15 minutes. Staff members are friendly, helpful and well-informed. Room is modern, always clean and well equipped.
No four stars if you don’t allow fresh air. This is a nice average high-end business hotel near the airport and conventions outside the city. Everything is fine—it is tastefully decorated, management is responsive. I called before i booked and they told me that their windows can be partially opened. In fact, they cannot be opened the slightest bit. Ughh. Stale air. Anyway, I moved out after a day and stayed at the nearby Hyatt which was a tiny bit ‘tired’ but the windows opened fully onto a balcony and I had fresh clean air—and was so happy. Thank you Hyatt. I am sure it must cost a lot more to heat and cool when all of the air is running in and out through a hundred windows but it is a much much nicer experience for me as a guest. Thanks.
I definitely don’t recommend this Hotel when you’re flying into Chicago internationally. I had a long layover in Chicago from an international flight, which is the reason I stayed here and because of so many great reviews I read. I am very understanding when things don’t go as planned because things happen and we’re all human, mistakes happen. But waiting over an hour and a half for a shuttle from the airport is ridiculous. I’ll add that I was traveling alone with 4 exhausted and hungry children. The hotel has a texting service where I communicated to them many times that only 1 full shuttle had stopped by and I would always get the response that shuttles run every 15 min. I called the hotel and same answer. I got impatient after the hour and tried to get a taxi but they wouldn’t give me a ride because my 4 year old didn’t have a car seat which I had checked it in with my luggage. I finally called the hotel angry and they sent a shuttle my way. 1hr 35min had gone by. When I complained at front desk their response was that the shuttles have been getting back to the hotel full. So basically screw us for being at the last terminal? At this point it was 10:30 pm everything to eat around us was closed so we got room service. $220.00 for 2 burgers, chicken tenders, fries, chicken noodle soup, and a chicken dinner plate. By the time we ate, showered, and got to bed we only slept about 2 hours before we had to make it to our flight home. Worst money spent on a hotel.…
This is a perfect upper mid-tier hotel. Clean, exceptional service, fun bar, great food. Room was exceptional and the bed perfect. Ability to take a walk outside. Safe. Easy to get to. I will definitely be back. Priced right!
Was told when I made the reservation and with a prior call about it they offered valet parking and when I got to the hotel was informed they did not have it and have not had it since COVID. The parking garage is always full and you cannot find parking close to the elevator. Since I was traveling with 2 elderly relatives I had to drop them off at the entrance and park and walk to the lobby by myself. Very frustrating when you are told it was offered and find out it was not. Front desk staff did not seem to care. The only ones that were apologetic were the bellmen. Very dissatisfied hotel guest.
Everything about our experience here was good, except for one interaction with a staff member that was short and unhelpful regarding a parking issue. Even if they had not been able to help resolve the issue they could have been nicer about it.
