We met up with a group of friends some of which were also staying at the Estate House. Ford is such a beautiful little village and offers peace, tranquility, and some great walks with lovely views. The Estate house looks a bit tired and in need of updating, but over the course of a couple of days we soon saw... More

We were warmly greeted by Bill's daughter Sam. Our room "Joicey' overlooked the wonderful garden. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything needed for a lovely stay. Great breakfast served in the dining room. Fresh fruit, juices, cereals and Fresh Fruit salad and Full English , all delicious.

Went here for an event. Lovely setting. Friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent Roast Beef and all the trimmings and a huge portion of home made Apple Crumble. The Estate House also offers accommodation and a tea room. Highly recommended.

Go into Ford village turn left at the Post office and by the monument you'll find the Estate House. We've become regulars at this cosy tearoom with its real fire on a cold day and a huge enclosed peaceful garden, perfect for a sunny day. The owners Bill, Debs and Sam are so friendly, helpful and know lots about the... More

I was told about this place by a fellow biker. So I sought it out, with a view to afternoon tea. Its setting is lovely, beside a fountain (unfortunately not working) at the end of the village lane. I guess 'quaint' would be a good description. I loved it. China cups and all.

This is a lovely location in which to spend a quiet few days. Sam, our hostess, was welcoming, helpful and very keen to ensure that we got the most out of our stay. Called in with hungry children who saw the advert outside for steak pie! Sat in the garden in the sunshine and they said the pie was the best they ever had! Lovely, friendly welcome, delicious food, excellent value for money. Just wonderful!

We ate here last minute in the beautiful garden as we had the dog with us. The food was fab and very reasonably priced. The couple who run are really friendly and would recommend to anyone. I wouldn't mind staying as the house is lovely, very traditional. We bought hens eggs from 'the girls' and they were delicious.
