We stopped here on a road trip. The hotel is very close to the highway and it is easy to get on/off the highway, but it is also close to a lot of food options and there is a Wal-Mart within walking distance. The area seems a little sketchy, but we didn’t have any problems. The staff is nice and our room was very spacious. The bathroom definitely needed to be updated. For the price, it was a pretty good deal.

We stayed overnight on our way to visit family. A friend had recommended the hotel brand so we tried it. It was fine for an overnight stay but the room was strange. I think it may have been two rooms converted into one. We had a king size bed and then a sofa bed for our son. The king bed was in one room where the AC was located then there was a space for the bathroom/ shower, the sink and counter and mini fridge and the another room where the sofa bed was. There was no AC control for this room. Needless to say the bedroom was freezing and the space with the sofa bed was hot. The bed was comfortable but not ideal for the person stick o. The sofa bed.

This place looks nothing like the website images. Had a very disappointing experience here, The hallways reaked of marijuana, people were having a loud party where the police even came to end it, but even worse was the disgusting mattress cover on one of the beds in my room. Huge yellow stain on it, beyond disgusting! Especially during this Covid-19, where you would expect extra cleanliness. It was completely unacceptable. I've stayed at La Quinta in downtown Chicago and would have expected this place to be at the same level. I was so wrong! Doesn't even meet my lowest expectations. Would not stay here again and do not recommend it. I joined the rewards program, thinking I'd possibly stay in future Wyndham properties and for the 5% discount. Rate was $90 a night, way overpriced and likely will pass on future Wyndham properties.

We really enjoyed our stay here as we drove to Minnesota from Florida during the COVID-19 crisis. They took good care of us and were very helpful. The Inn was obviously mostly empty due to people not traveling but they treated us very well. The breakfast might not have been "top of the line" but why put out stacks of food if the guest list is short. I need to praise them for the efforts they put forth for breakfast including wrapping each individual slice of bread in plastic so you didn't touch the other pieces of bread when you got what you wanted. I would stay there again in a heart beat. Thank you!

We initially booked our room for February 18th to February 26th. We are on the road 48 weeks a year for work. Our schedule changed abruptly and we had to call Hotels.com, the site we use, to change our checkout date to the 25th. Hotels.com called the hotel to approve this. The manager on duty approved this. When we checked in, we again verified our checkout date to be Feb 25th, not February 26th. The day after we checked out we looked on our online banking app. Lo and behold, La Quinta charged our card 82$ for one more night, after everything was approved, and after we had left the hotel. We have called at least 6 times to get a refund and keep getting the run around. Someone in that hotel has the authority to push a button and refund our money, that they charged us for a night we didn't even stay. The next step is going in person and creating a scene,then getting a lawyer. Most of the staff is friendly. The manager struts around like he's something. I don't think he realizes we can all see the ankle monitor he's wearing. Gee I wonder what he did? He did make one of the workers cry one morning because she was late. She was serving breakfast and could barely keep it together. Nice guy! The night shift guy was in the kitchen the whole time on his cell phone, probably hiding from management. We will never stay there again and we want our 82$ back. This is stealing. We didn't stay there that night and they took our money. I wonder how many other people have had this happen to them?
