We (2 Adults & 3 Children) spent a single night at The Old Rectory this weekend, en route from London to Cornwall after a busy day. Very conveniently located on a quieter section of the A303, however this makes it dark at night and easy to pass on first attempt, as we did. Once inside you can expect a very...

This is a gorgeous guest house with the most friendly genial hosts, immaculately clean bedrooms and bathrooms, gloriously comfy beds and breakfasts to die for, easily on a par with some of the finest hotels I have ever...

Lovely house and lovely owners Colin and Lynda. They couldn't be more helpful, the breakfasts were fantastic. The guest house is on the A303 so be prepared for some noise but you do get used to it and it makes easy access for all the local attractions. We would have no hesitation in recommending the old rectory and we will...

This is the second time we have stayed here, we love the area and the sweet b & b feel to it. Colin and Lynda are extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the two local pubs are nice as well. We visited Longleat really close and convenient.

My wife and I decided to break our journey to Devon by booking a night at the Old Rectory, what a great decision! The house is beautifully maintained and Linda and Colin were great hosts. Having arrived later in the evening than planned thanks to terrible weather conditions our hosts prepared sandwiches for us both. After a good night sleep...

We stayed here again fir two nights mid March 2016 and once again, could not fault it. On arrival the 5table was already laid for a pot of tea which was very welcoming. Every effort has been put into this small but beautifully put together B&B. The rooms would put many an hotel to shame and the service and friendliness...
