Have visited Bear Paw on multiple occasions with family. Love being able to wake up in the morning with the view of the Lake. Cabins are clean and cozy! Service is always great and consistent! Tom and Joe are always so welcoming. Would recommend to anyone!
First off I would not really called this place a resort. It’s some old cabins and some of them are rougher than others. But if you go in knowing that you will not be disappointed. We stayed for two nights in three different cabins for a mini family reunion. We had the two cabins at the top and enjoyed the seclusion. We also had a cabin down below but spent all the time together at the top.We ate at the restaurant and also rented the fishing boat for the day. Unlucky for us it rained hard all afternoon but that’s not their fault. If you are at the top like us the road can be rough. If you ask the resort before hand what their amenities are they are very open. Don’t expect luxury. Not for under $80 a night anywhere. We enjoyed it and will come back in the future.
We have been coming here to camp and fish Panguitch Lake for years now. The location is beautiful and right across from the lake. The rv spots are nice with power and water. There are a few cabins for rent as well. We recently stayed in one for a fast overnight trip. It was everything that you needed but it really could have used someTLC. There is a little store with a few basics and a cafe. The cafe used to serve 3 meals a day but I’ve noticed the last few times no breakfast. One star deduction for all those things but all in all a really nice place. Desk staff is always kind and professional.
I've been coming here with family and friends fro 40 years. I love Lake Panguitch. Bear Paw in simple and convenient. The staff is very friendly. The cabins are small and vintage, but clean. The fishing is excellent and they rent a variety of boats. My friends teenage daughter just pulled out a 4.2 lb rainbow; and that's no fish story. There is also a cafe on the premises, and facilities for RV's. They have a small playground. Nearby are ATV and horse rentals, plus a general store and a great place to get hamburgers and shakes. Deer walk along the lake at dusk, while hawks and eagles are a common sight. Overall the place is beautiful. It's also less than an hour to Bryce National Park.
The place is super convenient. The Cabins seem basic but being surrounded by nature. I do not think it matters. Boat rental is available and they several size choices. The staff is nice. The coffee shop has good food
