Hard to find location. Front desk staff was indifferent on both check-in and check-out. Room and public areas were worn, tired and dirty. Skimpy with amenities and many missing (so had to have sent up to room). First floor window wouldn’t lock shut - a big security issue. Complimentary breakfast was decent, and bed gave a good night’s sleep. I overheard the place is closing soon - probably a good idea. It was one of the worst HIE I have stayed in, but still serviceable.

We arrive 6/8, low hot water pressure, faucet gushes when turned on. 6/9 front desk says they will have someone fix it. Not fixed. 6/10 front desk says not fixed because 6/9 Sunday. Someone will be in today. I ask 'will they fix it?'. Front desk says 'I don't know'. Not fixed. 6/11 front desk say the reason not fix, maintenance man transferred. No idea when another on will ever be transferred back. Asked about the Holiday Inn "Hospitality Pledge" ( make it right or no charge for stay). Front desk says he cannot do anything for me, only GM can honor Pledge. I ask for GM, not in. Have GM call me. 6/20 still waiting call. Also, getting to pool a task for someone unable to walk stairs. My recommendation, stay at Days Inn across the street!

Serviceable hotel in Chicago suburbs. Not new, not fancy, but great service, clean rooms and varied, tasty breakfast. All hotels near Airport were full and many others full due to Anime and National Restaurant Association convention... found this place and it worked out well. Would stay again.

Make sure that if you stay there you do not forget anything.. I stayed at this hotel multiple times, but last time I stayed in for 2 nights and forgot a brand new iPad charger and a Phillips charger for shaving unit. I called the next day and they told me that they have both chargers and indicated to them that I am travelling overseas for 40 days and to hold them for me. Needless to say that upon return, I stopped by to get my chargers and was told that they tossed them away. Very hard to believe that you would throw away a brand new iPad charger. And, why would you throw it away if a customer told you to keep it.

Hello Ali F, Thanks for staying with us and writing us a review. We always want to make each experience stellar so I'm concerned learning about what transpired at check-out when you forgot your chargers at the hotel. Feedback gives us the chance to be better so I have forwarded this to the management for prompt attention. Please note that I also sent a message to get more information. Kind regards, Dianne L. I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. I was at a conference that served breakfast so I didn't get to try the include morning breakfast by the hotel. The only problem was no hot water the first morning. The desk staff probably had a lot of phone calls; however, the guy was very pleasant in his response. He basically said we are working on it, no time frame, oh well. While it would have been nice to be offered reward points or something, he at least could have apologized on behalf of the hotel.
