I have been traveling professionally and privately for many years, but the Alila Hinu Bay is second to none. The secluded beautiful location, on a beautiful white secluded sandy beach on the turquoise blue sea is just fantastic. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. The architecture of the hotel is incredibly attractive. There is a beautiful spa area where I was able to enjoy two unique massages from the wonderful Kim. Then there are two excellent restaurants, were we always served very warmly especially by Tamara and Meriam. The villas with pools are fantastic, very spacious and the bathroom is huge with an outdoor bathtube. The outdoor area is very comfortable with a beautiful pool. All overlooking the beach and the sea. A very special experience was the free-roaming camels. There are also great daily activities offered by the hotel. I did yoga twice on the beach. We also did a kayak tour of the lagoon and watched the wild flamingos. I would also like to highlight the wonderful service at the front desk. Alphonisa supported us so cordially and uncomplicatedly with all inquiries. That was really wonderful. We heartily recommend this gem of a hotel. Anyone who wants an extraordinary, luxurious experience and who loves solitude and tranquility has come to the right place. An experience that you will never forget. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alila Hinu Bay. The properly is new and in very good condition. Excellent service, rooms, pools and spa. The dinner menu was not great for vegetarians but the chef made whatever we wanted to eat so this was a really nice touch. The only downside is this property is about an hour from Salalah so very isolated, which is perfect for a relaxing break but not great if you have kids. Overall a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely visit again!

Our stay at Alila Hinu Bay was indescribable. It was by far the best stay ever. The hotel itself is of the highest level of design and quality! We were especially overwhelmed by the staff. It is almost unbelievable how friendly the team of Alila Hinu Bay is! Every single staff member is warm, courteous and made us feel attentive and totally helpful. The food was very tasty prepared with high quality products and lovingly arranged in optimal portions.

Great Arabic and Asian and international food served in 2 restaurants. Comfortable accommodation, great swimming pools with staff ensuring we remained hydrated. Lovely staff. Mainly Indian and Balinese.

Once again Alila convinces with outspoken design and comfort, the villas are stunning! Look out forMr. Prakash, he is executive chef for both restaurants and truly an exceptionally dedicated chef!!! His culinary creations are worth a trip, definitely the best food we enjoyed in Oman!!! The main restaurant, called Orchard, is the more sophisticated one! The service is very friendly. But there is a but: I don't understand why the hotel is located there. It lacks landscaping and gives an unfinished impression. The south of Oman has such stunning white sand beaches, but this hotel is next to a brown/greyish beach. At the pool, you don't find any service and at the beach club most of the time, there was no one bringing towels nor water...

I travel for work for a living, and Alila Hinu Bay is one of my favorite properties in 20 years in the business. It exceeded expectations in terms of location, comfort and design of the villa, food (oh, that breakfast!), activity options, relaxation options, and just Arabian seaside views and breezes. What I didn't expect was the ease of getting there - the Salalah airport is a modern and efficient gateway to the region (I was out the door 20 minutes after landing!) and the sincere warmth and graciousness of every single staff member (it felt like I was moving among friends). I want to go back. :-)

I came to smoke a shisha, it was good, but my previous experience was better, this time it was strong, perhaps because the tobacco was heavy and the juice was not well extracted before putting it. Mr. Prem did an excellent service for me and was very nice in dialogue. I hope my next experience will be better and that the level of shisha will be modified.
