Very disappointing stay due to other guests loudly roaming halls and going back and forth between rooms on our floor (and allowing noisy children to run the halls) until midnight one night of our stay and another night awakened at 2 a.m. by overly loud guests in adjoining room. Spoke to hotel front desk person and asked why no security person monitors halls and noise levels to enable all guests to have a positive experience. Front desk person was apologetic but no action taken.
They would like to blame Covid. Sometimes it’s all about accountability! Pool and hot tub was nasty. They blamed it on being short staffed. Needed to get new sheets. Used roll of toilet paper. Used box of Kleenex. No coffee in the room. Loved this place like home. It’s definitely not what it used to be
Beautiful property. Great architecture in a privately landscaped area on the old McDonald's Cooperation property. Dated finishes with interesting McDonald's Artwork. Tasty food (not McDonald's) and expansive pool and heath club amenities.
I would definitely recommend staying here whether it’s for a family vacation or a business trip. The customer service was outstanding and very helpful with everything. I definitely will be staying here every time I visit Chicago!
I stayed in the premiere suite, and was disappointed in virtually every aspect. The room's layout was cramped and lacked warmth. There were like 3 TVs but none conveniently located for comfortable viewing. The amenities fell short of expectations as well. The tub drained as I soaked, the coffee and tea selection was cheap (I would have thought they would up their game to make up for lack of room service), there weren't any feminine hygiene products. Worst part was the radiator clanged intermittently, preventing a decent sleep. I would not return, nor would I recommend this hotel.
