We stayed while attending the car show during the grape festival. It was obvious that the owners have made some changes. There appeared to be fresh paint and new doors added. Our room was much improved from previous years and the pool was in working order as well. We did request a different set of sheets for one of the...

We spent four days at this hotel. Our bed was never made during this time. We got clean towels and garbage emptied, but that's all. The mattresses, pillows and sheets need replacing. They are very worn and uncomfortable. We booked this hotel in advance or would never have stayed that long. Breakfast was catered in for the conference and cost...

As other reviewers note, there have been recent improvements at the hotel; during the past Winter, the staff replaced all mattresses, most linens, room and hallway painting, deep cleaning of most rooms, both my staff and I are saddened that these efforts did not give the reviewer a better experience. Although not directly related to a guest’s room experience, the...

We loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms were super clean and very spacious. The people at the front desk were very friendly. It is right on the main street which was very convenient. The only negative is their breakfast buffet (which is not free) ends at 9:00 am. We had it our last morning and it was delicious!!!...

Thank you so much for posting your review! I'm happy that you enjoyed your stay! Our restaurant is under new management, but I will share your thoughts with them. In the past, no one has come down after 9 am to eat breakfast, and that is why they shortened the hours. We appreciate your business and hope to serve you...

We were thrilled to find a place that had 3 bedrooms and would sleep our group of 9 that were traveling together. What we were not quite happy with was how small the living space was and also that one of the beds was a double size bed that was even a little short for my 5'8" height. Some of...

We stayed 2 nights to take in the historical sites. We had adjoining rooms - perfect for our big family. Rooms were clean and neat...and big, so we weren't crammed in there with all our bags. The restaurant looked a little lean so we are elsewhere. It did have a good sized indoor pool. Proximity to the sites is great....

Front desk girl very nice and helpful. Room very large and clean. Nice place for a small town. Would recommend to anyone that want to visit the historic town of Nauvoo and surrounding towns. The country side is beautiful with trees, farms, clean town, and the mighty Mississippi river flowing nearby.

This hotel was a mess in every way. We stayed here with a church history tour but will never go on another tour that includes this filthy place. We had considered another tour starting in Boston but will not take it since it includes three nights at this scummy hotel! The toilet didn't even work properly, and it took two...

My wife and I came with a Church History Bus Tour and enjoyed staying here. It would be wonderful for a family...large rooms, larger than average refrigerator (still not full size), microwave, plenty of room for additional sleepers. But the rooms seemed a little less clean and less stocked with glasses. But it was comfortable and we were there for...

The young lady at the computer upon our arrival had little experience with the check in process and while there were multiple employees behind the desk, no one seemed eager to help. It took over 15 minutes to get our key. Once we got settled, we found evidence that housekeeping is neglecting some key areas. Our fitted sheet was barely...

Because we were a large group for a family reunion we booked accommodations at this hotel. Our room consisted of 2 rooms with 2 queens, a pull out double couch and a set of bunk beds. There is a kitchen: refrigerator, stove that is not as workable as one hoped, dishes, etc. The over all look of the room was...

“washing machines are on 2nd and 3rd floors in main hotel. Only one elevator, nearer the front of the hotel. Manor House (unit across the street) is where youth groups stay, so if room in main hotel is available and you aren't with a youth group, you might want to ask for a room in the main hotel.”
