Originally we had a room in the hotel. Due to steep steps, we had our room changed to the motel. We stayed in the family suite. The suite is a two bedroom, with full kitchen, including a dining table. There is also a sofa bed as well. The room was a bit musty though. The room is definitely a "motel... More

We stayed here for three nights in a two queen room. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom large enough. You check in down the street at the hotel and the people are friendly and helpful. The town of Nauvoo is a delight.

We had stayed in the 170 year old Hotel Nauvoo one night and it was fine and clean but the narrow steep stairway was a challenge with luggage. And the rooms were small. The same family owns the Motel 4 blocks east of the Hotel/Restaurant. Bigger rooms, one floor and parking within 15 feet of the doorway. Queen bed was... More

One of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed in - and by no means an exaggeration. I like that it had a window in front and back to allow for plenty of sunlight. The bed was comfortable and adorned with a really nice comforter. The shower pressure was decent, not great. A cozy, clean, comfortable room for just under... More

Motel Nauvoo is a wonderful place to stay! My wife and I were first timers to Nauvoo and selected this cozy motel in lieu of Hotel Nauvoo and I'm glad we did! We found this motel to be exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms are bright and cheery, and within walking distance of all sites in town. We had... More

My family of 5 stayed in the suite, which has a king sized bed and a queen sized bed plus sleeper sofa. There was a small kitchen, a large bathroom and a decent living room. There was plenty of towels and shampoo for five. It was clean. It wasn't eloquent. It was a nice places to stay. Pros: free wifi.... More

On our visit to historical Nauvoo, we chose to stay at the Motel Nauvoo rather than the larger Hotel Nauvoo a short distance up the street because we felt it was quieter and less crowded with easier access to our car when leaving early--very early--in the morning. So we made reservations for a large room at the motel and for... More

We were looking for a one night place and this seemed to work for us. It was VERY clean and convenient to walk to eat and look around the town. There is a hospitality room with ice and a microwave for guests. Also had good wifi.

The hotel seemed about average on cleanliness. I got a good price for it, I think about $65 or so. But the musty smell was overwhelming. Enough to prevent me from ever staying there again. I like that you park your car right outside your room. And it is close to everything in Nauvoo. They have a room with sort... More

This place is super clean! They are smaller rooms. But very quaint. Nice little town and safe feeling area. Are bed was a queen with a very pretty quilt. The only complaint is that the wall are thin. We could hear the person in other room coughing all night.
