I came to Harrison House for a mom's retreat. The B & B has been recently renovated. It is gorgeous! Sara has incredible attention for details. I loved the touches of Naperville history brought in through the artwork. I stayed in the Garden Room on the first floor. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked well. I saw the other rooms as well. Each one had its own look and personality. The sitting room was comfortable. We sat there often, crocheting, talking and relaxing. Sara had coffee, tea, water and snacks available at all times. Breakfast was outstanding! Chilled orange juice, fresh fruit, baked goods and more! Each day was different but delicious! Parking was available and I had access to my car at all times. It is close to downtown - you could walk there. Most of all, Sara was the heart of the B & B. She truly cared about her guests and made adjustments as necessary. She was informative but also gave us our space to try new things as well as relax. I came for a retreat - main goal was to rest and relax. Harrison House definitely fulfilled my goal.

Everything about the Harrison House was wonderful! We stayed two nights over Valentine's day weekend and had the best time! Sara's service was excellent, breakfast was delicious, and there were so many additional perks that made this a great weekend overall. Whether you're from far away or in the area, we highly recommend Harrison House for a home away from home feel.

My Mom and sister wanted to meet up for some quality time together and Naperville was geographically perfect, so I didn't argue. Lucky me! They chose a B&B because they wanted the intimacy of a homelike atmosphere, and they chose Harrison House because of the easy proximity to downtown shopping, restaurants, Riverwalk and other attractions (a nod to City Girl me, I think). Everything was SO perfect. The inn was lovely, the hospitality warm and inviting, not intrusive, the food delicious. The owners are new to the inn and very enthusiastic about being both modern innkeepers but with traditional warmth and welcome. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you. SO much better than a hotel! PS Book directly with the B&B and bypass online booking: when you speak directly with the innkeepers they will be able to anticipate and prepare for your stay by knowing you better.

For a two-night stay in my former home city I selected Harrison House B&B, based on pleasant memories of my first stay there, 16 years ago. I am happy I chose Harrison House, versus any of the generic hotels in the area. They are a dime a dozen, whereas Harrison House is at least a gold coin, something memorable and valuable. Sara Tams, the new owner of Harrison House, is hard-working, delightful, personable and welcoming. She brews fresh coffee in addition to having a Keurig machine, offers fresh orange juice without limitation, and whips up delicious breakfasts. The first morning it was made-to-order pancakes and scrambled eggs, the second morning fresh waffles and scrambled eggs, heaped higher than anyone could consume. Snacks were complimentary, as were two bottles of water in my room (Sunshine Room), the smallest of the five rooms available. It was perfectly sized for me as a single traveler. I had my own bathroom with shower, a large closet, an easy chair , TV with hulu, and queen bed. The room was light and bright and attractively decorated. Can't think of a thing I wanted that wasn't already anticipated. The living room, spacious yet comfy and cozy, had large windows through which I could enjoy the light dusting of snow which fell the first night of my stay. If you like comfort and being cared for by an innkeeper rather than a hotel staff, this is an outstanding place to be. It's located within a five minute walk to the vibrant downtown and Naperville Riverwalk.
