Over the years, we’ve stayed at a number of five-star hotels and, to our surprise, we believe the Hotel Arista is the most hospitable and comfortable of them all. (Our last stay was in the Mark Hopkins in SF.) Every member of the staff went “above and beyond” to make our stay comfortable. Kudos to the front desk staff, the bar staff, the restaurant staff, housekeeping and Michael, the Bell Captain. The room designs are “smart” and the amentities are first-class. We strongly recommend this fine hotel. (I believe “everybody imitates the Boss” and we met the owner in the lobby one night. I can easily see that her enthusiasm and care for her guests would be the benchmark for her staff.)
Little bit out of the way, but good access for anyone who is using a car - will be nearly everyone in this area. Hotel is clean and friendly, with a coffee bar and gym attached which does help given that this hotel is fairly isolated. Bar prices are a bit steep compared with the bars in the area, but goes without saying that this is the norm for a hotel. Plenty of parking in what appears to be a well lit and safe area. Would be happy to use again if ever in the area
Excellent! A very nice boutique hotel. The check-in was Fantastic. Friendly and efficient. The room was modern and well appointed. Bathroom was spacious and well laid out. Door personnel were exceedingly courteous. I inquired about the distance to a CVS or Walgreen's and they offered to take me there and back in their hotel shuttle.
Had business next door, so the Arista was a no brainer. Booked a corner suite and the room was lovely. Spacious, contemporary and attractive. Roomservice burger was OK, but breakfast the next mornign was excellent. Service at the front desk was wonderful. Bed was nice, but no top sheet. When did the world go all in the comforter option? Anyway, lovely stay. Bill
Booked this hotel because it was the location of a family wedding. First I called to book our room, probably around 7-8 on a Friday evening , was put on hold for more than 5 minutes and then was asked by staff to call back during regular business days to make my reservation. I thought that was kind of weird but okay I will try later. I called back a few weeks later and booked our room, I will say I think the person helping even apologized for the earlier inconvenience. I asked about early check in since we would be driving in from out of town. She told they didn’t have an early check in but I could gladly call the day of and ask about checking in a little early. So on our way today I did what was I was told and I called to inquire about an early check in. The person that answered literally laughed at me, like a sarcastic haha and asked if I had purchased some $35 early check in package. I explained I had not and in fact had not even been offered that option despite asking about early arrival. He told me check was 4:00. He continued answer my questions rudely. We have family already there so it is not a big deal to get ready in someone else’s room but thus far I am not impressed with the service. I sure hope the wedding service is better for our cousin’s sake.…
