The place was great from the minute we walked in. Highly recommend checking it out. 5th Avenue Syndicate is a must try too. The food and speciality cocktails are delicious. The bar manager provided great conversation and was very knowledgeable about the menu.

I wanted a nice hotel in the Quad Cities after deciding not to stay at the Blackhawk in Davenport, so I thought I'd give the Axis a try, and am glad I did. It's a relatively new hotel and they've done a fine job in refurbishing the property and giving Moline an upscale vintage hotel. My room was supposed to have an accessible tub, and while that didn't mean there was a platform of any kind, there were plenty of grab bars. And the tub floor had non-slip tiles, which as a handicapped person, I really appreciate. The hotel was quiet, as was the street it is situated on. There is a bistro on the ground floor, which currently is closed on Sunday nights (I stayed on a Sunday), but my impression is that they will go back to seven-day operation soon. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate (cost was $11 - or "$10.99,") which I didn't find to be objectionable at all. Oh, and when I called to ask a question prior to my reservation, I actually got through to a human being at the front desk, a real plus. Definitely recommended!

This was my first stay at the Axis and in the Quad Cities. I was happy to see that Hilton had a boutique option in Moline and the rates were very reasonable, $99 for a king room on a Monday night. Beautiful room—very spacious, clean, and nicely appointed. Loved the bathroom. My only disappointment with the room was that there was no hand soap in the bathroom so I had to use shower gel to wash my hands. Very friendly staff, I ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was good and the service very attentive and friendly. There is free ramp parking that is super convenient. I will stay again.

If you’re traveling to the quad cities, the Axis Hotel deserves your attention. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and beautiful in this Art Deco building that has been transformed into a great place to stay and eat. The Syndicate restaurant is reminiscent of a Paris bistro! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus offer a number of delicacies. Service is top notch.

My husband and I traveled to the Quad cities to help some family move. We wanted to stay in a relaxing hotel for the night. The Axis was amazing. I have traveled for work for 15 years and this was by far one of the best place I have stayed for the price.
The art deco 1920's architecture was throughout the entire hotel and lovely to see. The King Suite that we had was massive. It was by far the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in, ever surface was shiny and spotless. Bathrobes and slippers were provided as well as a comfy chaise lounge in the bedroom (perfect for reading). Our room was so sleek and modern but still felt like the right era. The only downside was that the bed was a little too firm for us.
The location is fantastic, right downtown with lots of places to go for food or a drink. We did not eat at the restaurant "The Syndicate" but it looked incredible. We also loved the breakfast place recommended to us by the front desk --QC Coffee and Pancake House (great food, great service, good prices).
I wish they had digital check in though during COVID but overall was a wonderful experience-highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay in just the room (810) I wanted for the view which includes the Mississippi River As a Hilton Diamond I was proactively upgraded and I called to request room 810 the corner king suite (w/out door between Living and bed area) nicly arranged with lots of windows - this is a repurposed office building Wet bar with microwave and refrigerator.
The staff was friendly although no one actually recognized my status
Everything clean. Comfortable bed. And FLUFFY Towels although a thin toilet paper and tissue (far from a Kleenex).
Breakfast was weak but acceptable. No credit just the ‘grab & go selection with Microwave Jimmy Dean Bowls and sandwiches. This is durning the “current unpleasantness “ (my term) previously there had been a breakfast buffet at the restaurant. I had dinner one evening in a nice warm space, friendly servers, and okay comfort food. The small number of customers allowed for safe distancing
Maybe tongue in cheek on the review title as I have not experienced the Radison.
I’d definitely stay here again!

We are Diamond members with Hilton and Hilton's and Marriott's are our "go to" hotels. We had a top floor corner suite . The suite was spacious and very clean. This boutique hotel is quite amazing when a person considers this was a do over from an old building. The Axis is a short walk to the river and there are restaurants within walking distance. Free covered parking was a plus. The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5 was the staff's responsibility with respect to Covid. I picked up towels every day from housekeeping (we were there 3 days) and in each case the housekeeper was not wearing a mask or face covering. The front desk did have a face mask on but was wearing it incorrectly which made it worthless. As I said this would have easily been a 5 star rating except for this. I would hope this would be addressed by management.

Good hotel! Good view of downtown Moline! The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful by bringing our towels and an extra pillow up to our room. The only reason for a four-star is that breakfast was $11.99 per person. For the price you pay to stay here, breakfast should be included in my opinion. There is a bar in the lobby so I would consider it semi-family friendly.

We have traveled from coast to coast and Canada using various bus touring companies. Normal procedure is for hotel rep to meet with tour guide and hand out the room tickets. Axis required one guest per room to check in. share photo ID plus credit card for incidentals....tour bus driver shared bus service credit card to cover any incidentals. The 7 AM buffet breakfast was available at 7:15 with very sparse amounts for a bus load of 33 people. The breakfast gal claimed she had no idea so many people would be there with the check in desk close by that info was easily available....on the plus side, beautiful room, luxurious bathroom and very nice linens. They just need to get it together if interested in filling rooms with bus loads of senior citizens.

I was born & raised in Moline, and I was returning over the July 4th weekend to visit my mom who now lives in a senior living facility. Due to Covid-19, I did not want to stay with family friends as usual, so I opted to check out the Axis Hotel. This is one of the newer high-end hotels in the Quad Cities. I wanted to see how they had renovated a former office building into a boutique hotel, and as a Hilton loyalty member the fact this is part of their Tapestry Collection was an advantage. The room rate was quite reasonable considering this is a boutique hotel. The hotel is very beautiful inside. I had a standard king bed room. All the needed modern features were available yet the decor was art deco. The bathroom was especially nice with a huge glassed in shower. The Axis is located within walking distance of several restaurants downtown so that was convenient to get carryout food. Parking is free in the attached municipal parking garage. I opted for no housekeeping so the only staff I had interaction with was in the lobby and the elevator. My biggest disappointment with my stay was the fact that neither staff nor guests were wearing masks. I had expected there to be stronger enforcement of the IL Stage 4 guidelines. Otherwise, my hotel stay was quiet and relaxing.
