My friends & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ Embassy suites Lombard it Was memorable.Kids enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Our group spent the evening @ the bar which was conveniently located.Good restaurants around.
Our stay was a quick overnight after an event at a nearby reception venue. Online check in/check out was a huge bonus as our attentions were elsewhere. Very busy conditions at Sunday morning breakfast but staffers worked hard to provide food and keep tables clean.
On June 10th my daughter was wed and we chose the Embassy Suites Hilton Lombard to host the wedding party as well as our guests. Not one complaint and we reserved 25 rooms. I love the Hilton Brand and stay in a Hilton Hotel whenever possible but the stay at this particular hotel exceeded my expectations.
Upon arrival (around 11:30 am) pool was not open and was not known when it would be open. Jacuzzi was closed the entire stay. On site dining was actually a Bar that served a very LIMITED MENU OF APPETIZERS, not a full menu, hence NOT an establishment to DINE; NOT KID FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. Our room did not have locks on the bathroom or bedroom doors. Doors were sliding doors with no stop other than the actual handle attached to the sliding door.If not careful, hands/fingers got pinched/caught between wall and handle! Bedroom TV was plugged into an outlet that was powered by a light switch; when we arrived it took a bit to figure out why the TV would not power on. Internet access was SLOW at best. Had to pay for on site parking. Had a five guest party, yet was only given three breakfast "vouchers" and zero wristbands for guests under 18. Complimentary drinks/snacks were provided in the bar which offered extremely limited seating; so much so that we had to forego the drinks due to no seating and not being allowed to leave the bar area with alcohol. One outlet provided in the bedroom which had three guests. Microwave instructions were in Spanish. We are an English speaking country. Spanish is a SECONDARY LANGUAGE HERE. Additionally, no ice in ice dispensers on floors 5, 6, and 7 upon checkout at 9:0 am.…
Worked out great for a small business meeting we held in May. Kevin was bartender and did an awesome job with hospitality. Friendly, engaging and great storyteller. Overall great experience. Would recommend and use hotel again for future meetings
The hotel calls itself pet-friendly, but it is anything but. The excessive pet fee ($75 per pet) aside, there was the grand inquisition: what size is your pet? weight? color? does it make noise? The hotel was full of kids' who were louder and more messy than most pets- I wonder if they were similarly questioned. Maybe the questioning was just in keeping with the generally unfriendly tone of hotel communications: Put your $6 self-parking tag in your car or else get ticketed. Don't lose your breakfast pass, because it will not be replaced. Really? All this aside, the place was a bit shabby for the $250 price point. See pics of frayed phone cords, rubbed raw desk lamps, and broken stair lighting. Also, how an a hotel claim to be suites for extended stays when there is no plasticware (even coffee cups or plastic forks) at all? Overall, a big disappointment.…
The rules at this hotel are ridiculous and the staff is exceptionally rude. We were sitting in the atrium at 7pm just after the happy hour. They could not get rid of us sooner and told us we needed to be quiet because people weee sleeping. So, if you want a hotel with quiet hours that starts BEFORE dinner, this is your place. The staff was incredibly rude, other than Kevin at the bar. He was great. They had security and police round the clock, and we were told we had to eat in our room or OUTSIDE, since none of the 25ish tables in the atrium are allowed for eating. A team came in with Culver’s and were promptly kicked out. “That’s what your room is for”. We will NEVER stay there again, especially considering the cost and the utter disrespect we were shown at paying customers.
Great hotel, good location, great price Most staff very polite and helpful especially the front desk manager Claire. She helped locate a valued heirloom necklace for my cousin and shipped it to her. Breakfast staff also wonderful
Delisha and Mary Beth were so kind to me during my stay. They are good people and deserve a raise. Because of those 2, I will be staying here again The staff weren’t unpleasant, it’s just that those 2 made my stay nicer by being kind humans. Give them a raise.
Hi To whom it May Concern I just want to say what an awesome time we had at the Embassy Suites in Lombard IL and such Great customer service from Delisha , Nick and Nancy. That Team ROCK!! I give 4 stars I would give 5 stars but there was an issue with odor on the 10th floor. But the Hilton Team accommodated me and my family to a better floor and room.. greatly appreciate the service and atmosphere..
