The price couldn't be beat. Rooms are badly in need of updating. Desk chair was broken, mattress was lumpy and no too comfortable, pillows had a foul smell. I guess I should be grateful no bed bugs. Front desk service was very friendly, helpful and polite. The Fire Exits are severly lacking, two on each floor-corridors are approximately 250 feet long with an exit on either end.
While on the road I look for a hotel that is in a convenient location and in a nice area. Then a lot of lit up parking. At that point, I appreciate someone at desk that knows the job of the front desk and is familiar with the building, parking, IHG members, and not just knowledgeable, but has a great attitude. That’s JASMINE in every way! Thanks Jasmine! Keep up the great work. Scotty.
If want to be away from town where is peaceful and out in the country, this is it. My husband and I was very pleased. We look forward of going there again. The front desk was so friendly, makes you want to come back.
Amenities aside, Candlewood offers all a traveler needs: from a huge desk work space, to a fully equipped kitchen, all one needs for coffee and work. A huge bed invites you to curl up with a nice book, or that girl on the side, as you relax within a safe and great environment for both.
This is my second time to stay at this Candlewood Suites, and I was in a one bedroom suite this time, for a five night stay. The suite had a sofa, a recliner, a full kitchen, minus the oven, It was very clean and very comfortable. Having the one bedroom suite really made the stay perfect. They have a "cupboard", a nice exercise room, a coffee/tea service in the cupboard area and several washer and dryers that are free to use. There is limited silverware - 2 forks, 2 spoons, etc. so you might have to wash you silverware if you eat in as I did. My suite had a handicap accessible bathroom, which made it very large. The down side was that there was no vanity at all, so really no place to set toiletries. Also, in my suite the water pressure in the shower was very poor, which was unfortunate because everything else was great. I was traveling with two dogs, they do charge a fee for dogs but are very accommodating and understanding. They even have a treat jar for dogs on their counter. Love this place!…
