I booked a room for one night on Hotels.com. The photos on their site show a recently updated motel. Our room was nothing like that. It was filthy and apparently still under construction. Hair all over the floor, stuck in the “clean” towels, no trim on the walls, exposed drywall, filth and rust inside the air conditioner...the list goes on. We left an hour after checking in. The hotel and website both refuse to refund our money, citing their cancellation policy. I intend to follow up on this matter.

This front desk was helpful and pleasant people. The room was a little dirty but okay. The problem was the other people in the rooms. Smell of weed and hearing other people yelling. I heard most of conversations through the thin walls. It was better than any other hotels or motels around.

Seems newly remodeled. The lobby attendant ignored us for a moment. A simple be with you in a moment would have made the transaction smoother. Nice rooms. Bed was not comfortable at all. Other than that it's an OK motel.

I thought I'll try Motel 6 because I got a good deal plus it wasn't far from my home. I've worked in 5 star properties 20 years and where I stay I expect everything to be up to standard. First I see the screen in the window is half way bent like someone was trying to get out, They should have replaced that. Some splatter on the wall that look like blood, simple soap and water could of solved that problem. The face towel looked like they washed the same towel 20 years straight, come on...Please buy some new towels! Thank god I bought my own. The tissue roll was 95% used. They don't carry real comforters or real blankets, they have a thin throw like fleece blanket and thin top sheet. Worst of all, they have roaches, I saw two of them crawling around the bathroom and sink area. I immediately had to seal everything in fear that it would get in my things. The walls were dirty with a hole in it and the window seals were dirty with paint peeling. I few things had burn spots including the table and phone. I booked a smoking room and they did not have one ash tray in the room. This place is extremely nasty, I'm surprise they still in business. I would never stay at a Motel 6 again!

Although we arrived around 11 p.m., Naveen made check-in a breeze. Our room was ready (see pics), comfortable and clean, especially the bed linens and towels. Since this was a budget motel, there were some unexpected amenities such as a large walled flat screen TV, Criterion microwave and Collezioni mini-fridge with a freezer compartment in good working condition. The heat/AC unit was quiet and worked very well. There is also free WI-Fi here. Overall housekeeping did a pretty good job. However if a hotel offers guests any amenities, its staff should make sure those amenities are clean and in working condition beforehand. In a budget hotel I would rather not be offered amenities than to see amenities that are dirty or not usable. In this room some of the metal hanger rings were rusted and the rust rubbed off on my clothes, the bathroom doorknob was very loose and the floor of the bathtub had cracks where bacteria could fester and spread. I imagine such small details as replacing the metal hanger rings, re-sealing the bathtub floor or tightening the screws on a doorknob puts extra work on an already overwhelmed housekeeping/maintenance staff but those are some of my pet peeves and I stand by them. Checkout was a little rocky because we thought we had a late checkout for noon instead of the standard 11 a.m., so we were surprised when housekeeping knocked on our door. After calling the front desk, Raghav gave the OK for a late check-out. We were so grateful for management allowing its front desk agents to make those kinds of decisions on the spot for out-of- state travelers because there were so many unexpected road closures and delays on the road, it is almost impossible to arrive close to standard check-in times. Overall because of the cleanliness of the room, the amenities that did work and the excellent customer service with Naveen and Raghav, I would stay again during my travels and recommend this Motel 6 to anyone.
