The Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa garners high praise for its professional and attentive staff, with guests frequently commending the exceptional service. While the hotel's atmosphere is deemed stylish and luxurious, offering breathtaking views, there are occasional mentions of noise disturbances. The cleanliness is a standout feature, as travelers find the hotel immaculate. Amenities like the pools and spa receive acclaim despite some remarks about the crowded infinity pool and spa scheduling. The picturesque location is lauded, although opinions on value suggest some guests find the pricing steep. Room comfort and views are celebrated, yet the layout can be complex to navigate.

Stunning location, sitting 100 feet off the ocean floor, on the cliff, views from every part of the hotel, large spacious rooms, and bathrooms. Lounge, bars, restaurants all located on the edge of the ocean.

Hotel's Favorite
We booked a last minute weekend to Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel and Spa for my husbands birthday. The holiday was absolutely amazing and surpassed all expectations. We wondered if being a Jumeirah hotel the service would be like that received in Dubai, exceptional. I have to say we were not disappointed. SERVICE: The service by every single person on the team was excellent, there was not a single person who did not go out of their way to help us. They were all so attentive. If I could name each and every one of the I would. ARRIVAL: Sara was so welcoming and answered all our questions and we felt very welcomed. Our flight was early and our room was not ready but the resort cater excellently for this. Sylvia noticed us looking lost in the reception area. She immediately came over and asked us if we were ok and how she could help. Having just arrived and waiting for check in we were undecided what to do. Rather than just telling us directions around the hotel and advising what to do, she personally showed us around, eventually guiding us to the spa area, where they had excellent facilities to get changed and start our holiday while waiting for the rooms to get ready. Concierge took our luggage to the spa for us and it was all stored. We could start enjoying the holiday immediately. As soon as our room was ready we were given our keys and our luggage had already been moved from the spa to the room without being asked. ROOM: Very spacious, beautiful decor and unbelievable views. There is no such thing as a bad view from anywhere in this hotel. Excellent amenities and 5* luxury you would expect from the Jumeirah Brand. Having contacted the hotel previously they had a cake ready for my husband in the room. CHECK OUT: Wasim was fantastic at reception. Despite leaving the hotel at 8.00 pm, we did not feel like we were not on holiday that day. Once again the hotel cater so well, so that you can enjoy all facilities including the spa and pools. We did not feel like we spent the day waiting to board the plane, we actually still felt like we were on holiday. CONSIERGE TEAM: We loved the whats app service offered. It is so efficient and replies are immediate. We were always greeted with a smile and they were always so patient in answering all questions and also giving additional information to make sure we enjoyed our stay even more. HOTEL: This hotel is absolutely stunning and the views from everywhere are overwhelming with both mountains, the port and the sea. They have a separate kids pool and an adult infinity pool. Despite not being and Adults only hotel, I would strongly recommend it to couples as it is so well catered for both families and adults separately. The infinity pool was one of the best I have seen and despite going in August more than enough seating. Pool service was excellent by all of the team. Zoe was so lovely, helpful and nothing was too much bother. She was always so cheerful and what really stood out was her initiative in noticing things before being asked, so attentive and considerate. We did not use the family pool area or kids club, so I can not comment on these. SPA: Exceptional is the only work I can use. The views from the hydropool were out of this world and there were so many rooms in the spa area. You did not need to have a massage to be able to enjoy it. Once again one of the best we have been too (considering we are comparing the the Jumeirah Zabeel Ottoman Spa, the one at Atlantis and Moon Palace Grand Mexico). We were not disappointed and used it everyday. RESTAURANTS and FOOD: Breakfast was excellent and once again service exceptional, especially from Ritick who was so friendly and offered great advise. We ate at Caproig for my husbands birthday and every single person who came to the table wished him a happy birthday. Charleen went out of her way to make sure we had an excellent celebration, service and attention to detail was brilliant. Food was delicious and good vegetarian choices. The prefect setting for dinner also. The next day we did the tasting menu at El Fanals. The dining experience was beyond brilliant, the food amazing and so well thought out. The service was unbelievable and you could tell they really wanted this to be a full experience and not just about eating dinner. If you are looking to eat dinner at the hotel, half board was good value, the restaurants are not cheap but the food quality is great. Sunset lounge, we did not have time to visit other than pipping in to see the venue. Stunning for evening drinks or a meal. SHUTTLE SERVICE: The hotel cater excellently for those who do not wish to eat on site or want to try local restaurants. There is a service that runs from the hotel directly to the port through out the day. About every couple of hours during the day and every half an hour in the evening until 11. All the team were not pushy about eating at the hotel which we loved, and even gave suggestions of where to try locally. Great support for local restaurants which is lovely to see. After dinner we explored the port and went for some drinks. SURROUNDING AREA: Port De Soller is about 40minutes from the airport (taxi approx 60 euros) but well worth the trip, not only for the hotel but the area is beautiful. The port is lovely with so many restaurants and bars, a lovely beach and so many activities. As we were there only two days we stuck to the hotel and the port and did not need a car. If we were there longer I would consider car rental but some roads are narrow. There is free parking just outside the hotel but it was very busy. For a short trip a car did not feel necessary. Thank you to every member of the Jumeirah Port Soller Team, although I did not get to mention each of you induvidually you surpassed our expectations and made us feel you all cared and made our stay amazing. The hotel is in a stunning location and photos do not do it justice. We would highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Jumeirah Port de Soller. We had a junior suite and it was furnished to the highest specification along with stunning ocean views from both the bedroom and the bathroom. The butler service via WhatsApp was exceptional and the concierge did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We chose to eat at the Cap Roig restaurant almost every evening as the food was exceptional and the staff were friendly and helpful. I have very specific dietary requirements and it was no problem at all for the chef. Breakfast was excellent too with a wide variety of choice. Service was fantastic throughout the hotel. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in a beautiful location.

This was our second visit to this hotel and we had an amazing time. Room had a beautiful view overlooking the port and was spotlessly clean. Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Views and facilities were amazing. All the staff we had contact with were amazing - professional and friendly. Our thanks to the lovely staff at breakfast and to Gori who served us on the terrace every morning. Also thanks to Fausto and the staff at Cap Roig for their hospitality at dinner. Thanks also to Cederick at the infinity pool and all the reception, concierge and young gentlemen at the entrance - who look after car parking/shuttle bus etc. Just amazing service! Can’t wait to return and do it all again!

The Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel is truly one of the most spectacular hotels in Europe. It's perched on a cliff overlooking the beautiful coastline of northwest Mallorca, with three terrific restaurants and a full gym and spa. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and well-appointed, and we were lucky enough to get upgraded upon arrival to a junior suite with a full ocean view (be sure to join the Jumeirah frequent traveler program in advance to be eligible for room upgrades). The hotel and facilities literally stretch for a full kilometer along a cliff, and this in turn makes for some interesting and intricate sequences of stairs and elevator rides to get from the main area to the rooms, so this is probably not a top choice if your mobility is an issue. Be sure to reserve an ocean view room, because if you do, this is one of those hotels that you will definitely never forget.

This hotel is so breathtaking, you feel you are dreaming from the moment you arrive. But beyond its mesmerising structure is a feeling of joy created by the outstanding team of people who excel in their dedication to customer service. Enjoying pre-dinner drinks in the the hotel’s Sunset lounge is a bucket list treat. Enjoying the tasting menu at the El Fanalas restaurant is quite simply, magical. Situated within Mallorca’s imposing mountains, the views leave you breathless. Although you may feel slightly isolated from the action of Port Soller, the hotel runs a return shuttle service that takes only 5 minutes to find yourself in the midst of the action. Among many others, we wish to express our thanks to Antonia, Natalia, Fran, Gloria, David Victoria and Bruno. Also, the hotel’s first rate housekeeping kept our room immaculate. This hotel exudes unrivalled luxury and exemplary customer service. We cannot wait to return.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in October. We had an amazing experience and I’d highly recommend it to everyone I know. It might be a bit pricey, but such a wonderful experience, service, rooms, food, and views. We stayed in room 110 overlooking the ocean. Amazing room/space, views, and detail. The overall resort was stunning, spa was lovely, food and drinks were great, and the service was top notch.

My wife and I had our wedding here back in August. From the moment we booked our experience was plagued with issues. It started with very poor communication. We booked in September/October 22 and we were told that even though the hotel is closed for the winter, we would still have someone to communicate with via email during these months. This was a lie. We waited months to get responses to the most basic of questions and this had a major impact on our planning. In April, we arranged to visit the hotel for a menu tasting, when we mentioned that my wife’s parents would be joining us, they told us that there would be a massive charge involved for bringing additional people. We were shocked at this because every other hotel we’d spoken to said that it was common and almost standard that couples bring up to 4 to a tasting with no additional charge. They eventually agreed to not charge this, but only after several emails and calls from us. Back to communication. There were countless errors made by Jumeriah management in the lead up, but one that really stuck out was their apparent complete disregard for the safety of our guests. Very early on we told them that we had one guest with a severe nut allergy, and there were to be absolutely no nuts, nut traces, nut oils etc, in any dish, as this could be potentially life threatening for this guest. On two separate occasions they came back to us with menu alterations that contained nuts. The second of which was the most shocking as literally the first dish had pine nuts listed as one of the main ingredients. This left us in complete disbelief, a supposed 5 star kitchen in a 5 star hotel was not taking the safety of this guest seriously at all. This brings us to the weekend of the wedding. We arrived the day before the wedding as we had a welcome party planned in the port that evening. From the moment we attempted to check in, there was utter chaos. At the check in desk, we were sat with a lovely receptionist, but she seemed very inexperienced. We sat with her for around 25 minutes as she fumbled around trying to find our booking. We were not only quite shocked that they didn’t have the bride and grooms booking ready to go, but during this time we weren’t even offered a simple welcome drink or similar. It’s as if they didn’t even know we were coming. When they eventually found the booking we were brought to a room and we unpacked. Because of the issues we had checking in, I decided to go back to reception to double check that the other rooms I booked were all ready (I booked 3 additional rooms for my groomsmen). To my disbelief, they had no record of the bookings, even though I had confirmation emails. This led to a scramble for the staff to find 3 additional rooms. Eventually they came up with a plan to move my wife and I in the lighthouse suite, so that one of the groomsmen could take our old room. This involved us having to completely repack and move room when we were already stressed and running behind schedule. And to add to the stress, it took the staff nearly 2 hours to bring our luggage to the new room. We later found out that some small items were never brought to the new room, most of which were never located and returned to us. The management would later use this “room upgrade” as a way of glossing over our long list of complains, saying it was appropriate compensation, even though it was their way of patching their mistakes and it was something that we never asked for in the first place. We eventually made it to our welcome party, late, completely exhausted and stressed due to all the running around that had occurred that afternoon. Now the wedding day. Our ceremony was on the terrace, but originally we had planned to have an arrival drink for the guests in the ballroom so they would not have to wait around in near 40 degree heat for over an hour. At some point, the staff changed this plan. They brought our guests including children and elderly, directly to the terrace upon arrival, where they baked for nearly 2 hours total in the heat of the early afternoon. By the time my wife and I appeared for the ceremony, the guests were visibly uncomfortable. Later on in the evening, after dinner, everyone moved into the ballroom where we had a DJ. The staff were supposed to cut the wedding cake and serve it to people at this point, but this never happened. Many guests mentioned that they saw the wedding cake being wheeled out of the room, whole, never to be seen again. We later found out that the cake was disposed of. This was an expensive cake that had been meticulously picked out, being thrown away, untouched. We had also booked the “midnight snack”, which is essentially trays of food that would be served to the guests at the very end of the night. We booked this for the vast majority of guests as we knew some were leaving early, but what was served was around 3-4 small trays of food, for around 70 people. One member of the bridal party peered into the kitchen at the time and saw staff gathered around the remaining trays, eating the food that we payed for and which was not even served to the guest in the first place. The above represents only a tiny portion of the problems that occurred during our time here. Many of our family members and guests had their own issues with the hotel that are not listed here. The hotel management have since been incredibly blasé about our complaints and keep hiding behind the “room upgrade” saying it is appropriate compensation. Again this was something that we had never asked for and it was their way of covering one of their many mistakes. To sum up, if you’re thinking about having your wedding here, don’t. There are plenty of other nicer, more affordable venues on the island who will actually appreciate the business and take your special day seriously.

This is my second stay at Jumeirah Port Soller and I absolutely could not speak more highly of it. I am a resident in Mallorca and the service and friendliness of staff is some of the best I have found in the island. The receptionist was helpful and happy to greet us. We enjoyed a day up at the infinity pool and the waitress there was so friendly and attentive. The room service was delicious. The breakfast choice was plentiful and set in a beautiful area of the hotel. We then spent the next morning in the spa which was very high quality. Thank you for having us for our mini staycation and we look forward to returning next season x

My wife and I took her elderly mother to experience the hotel, Soller and the port. We were blessed with lovely weather. The hotel is excellent, enjoying a beautiful location . The staff are amazing and are SO friendly and helpful. A regular shuttle service is provided to take one to and from the Port, given that the hotel is atop a rather steep hill on the side of a cliff. All the food that we had was very enjoyable. We used both pool areas and the gym is of good size with good equipment. We had sea view rooms which were very well appointed and afforded wonderful views out to sea but also down towards the port. We were fortunate to get a couple of memorable sunsets.
