This was our second visit to Jumeirah and it was just as good if not better. We had requested the same room, which they gave us, as it was in the perfect position for us, near the Infinity pool. The room was lovely. Great amenities with a lovely view. The Infinity pool is lovely. Although only children over a certain age are allowed, I feel some younger children push their luck and don’t appear to be challenged. They bring round one small carton of water each per day. I do think that unlimited water should be provided. Let’s face it, you are paying a premium to stay here in the first place. Breakfast was delicious. Hot food to order, buffet for all other items. The buffet was always well stocked and full of good quality items. Cava available for a lovely breakfast Mimosa. The views from wherever you look are to die for. That is definitely their selling point and probably the high price tag. Shuttle buses are available on the hour to take you to and from the town. It’s very much needed, as it’s a long way up or down a steep hill. Only seat 8, so more often than not, they have to do two trips. Two small criticisms; Why oh why would a hotel of this quality allow dogs to be allowed to stay? There must be unlimited dog friendly places for owners to stay, without picking the best hotel in Soller. Secondly, their shuttle buses sit outside with their engines idling. Sometimes two or more vehicles at the same time. Really not environmentally friendly. Despite the two small gripes, we would return in a heartbeat.…
My wife and I spent a week here and had a really lovely time. The food and amenities were pretty much as one would expect, in other words pretty good! Room with sea view was great and always beautifully cleaned each day. But the best thing about the week was the attitude of the staff. They were without exception always charming and happy to do all they could to help. The guys outside always had my bike ready each morning so I could head out for a ride. We found the shuttle service back up from the port in the evening was particularly useful. In short we will definitely be returning
First time stay at this Jumeirah property. As a regular at JBH, Dubai, expectations were high and met by the hotel. Plenty of things to mention but highlights are as follows: Sunset lounge, fantastic food and excellent cocktails; Breakfast, good choice: and excellent location and service. Highlight for us as a family was the barbecue on the Monday night with live entertainment at the Cap Roig Brasserie - food was fantastic, music great. All staff highly attentive. Property has an excellent location with a 15 minute walk to the port. Special thank you to Bruno at concierge and his team who coordinated bookings outside the hotel and arranged excursions in short notice. The good thing about this hotel is as a guest, they know who you are, which rooms you are staying in and arranged things accordingly - had the opportunity to meet the general manager, Gianluca Priori. He was very polite and keen to engage with guests. Special thanks to Nikole Vásquez who arranged all our restaurant reservations.…
I can join the comments of the majority and praise the superb view, the extremely nice staff, the quality of the rooms and the five star level of the general set up of the hotel. The infinity pool area however did not meet my expectations. Although it is nicely located on the top of the hotel and offers spectacular views over the sea and the mountains, it is certainly not an adult pool as advertized (Kids over 12 are considered adults) The pool area is rather limited in space so that the sunbeds are lined up extremely close to each other, something that is not five star like. In addition, some guests also started the "Mallorca sunbed war" and reserved sunbeds without showing up for hours. This is absolutely unacceptable in a luxury hotel and should not be tolerated by the Jumeirah staff.…
An excellent hotel as you would only expect given the price. Not much to fault, breakfast excellent, rooms excellent service the highest level. The views from the bar at sunset are spectacular. All in all I would go back if back in the area again
From arrival to departure we had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff are so friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and very tasteful. The restaurants were super, lovely food and very child friendly. The breakfasts were excellent. The views are spectacular. We only stayed for three nights this time and then moved on to a hotel in the port. A huge mistake. Our grandson kept asking to go back to the nice hotel!! We would stay for the entire time in the future. The Italian manager of Cap Roig Bistro, Fausto, went out of his way to make my husbands birthday special. Thank you. This hotel just gets it right!
Wow! We had such a fantastic time at this hotel. We have stayed at many top hotels across the world and this one did not disappoint at all! ALL The staff were simply amazing from the reception, concierge, valet and the restaurants- it didn’t matter if it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, nothing was too much to ask and everyone was polite, friendly and gave excellent service and the food was wonderful! The staff around the infinity pool did especially well and also deserve praise!. The room and facilities were very clean, spotless in fact and we felt really looked after for our whole stay! The free shuttle service to and from the to Hotel to Port Soller was also very good and much appreciated. I am pregnant, and the hotel had really prepared well, ensuring food was cooked well and also when I had Spa treatments, the therapist called Carmen was excellent at making sure I was comfortable and going above and beyond to ensure I was ok. Overall an excellent few days. We will 100% be coming back.…
This hotel is a real five star plus! Where to start as there are so many wonderful things to write about. We stayed for 6 days this time but have visited before and on one occasion, with the grandchildren. All of our stays have been exceptional. The service provided by the staff on the concierge desk through to the waiting staff in the restaurants and by the pool and the house keeping staff was impeccable - always checking that we had everything we needed. The amenities are first rate - the infinity pool is beautiful with the most stunning views and it is so good to provide a separate pool for children ( which we used a few years' ago and which is also superb). We absolutely loved the Sunset Bar which we visited every evening to have a cocktail and admire the sun setting over the sea and harbour. The food at the Sunset Lounge was very much to our liking being an Asian fusion menu which was both appetizing and suitably light depending on the number of courses you wanted. We enjoyed the barbeque one night which was also exceptional offering plenty of choice between meat & fish dishes. Breakfast ( included) was always fresh and set us up for the day ahead. We had a bedroom with a sea view and to be honest, it is probably one of the best views in the world - as I sent a photo back to my family in the UK, 'what person could not wake up to this view and not be blown away!' I haven't used the spa as I just enjoyed my time at the pool so much that I didn't want to leave. A most relaxing holiday this year and we will be coming back as soon as we are able to.…
We have always wanted to experience the Jumeirah hotel in Mallorca as we know the Jumeirah group very well in Dubai and London. Our first impressions on our arrival did not disappoint. The hotel location has spectacular views over the Port and the sea. My husband and I had a wonderful few days enjoying the hotel and surrounding areas. We had a hire car so was able to travel and found some beautiful hidden coves near by. I have already rebooked to bring my mother next month for a few days, and can’t wait to return. Thank you Jumeirah for your hospitality.
This was our first time at Jumeirah Port Soller and it will not be our last. The views are spectacular. We were in room 2002 and had a large balcony m, day beds, table and chairs and an exquisite view over the Port. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the bathroom accessories had a gorgeous smell of orange. Sunset sushi bar has to be up there with one of the best bars with that view. All of the staff made us welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. They carried out all requests with a smile. The adult infinity pool at the top of the hotel had more than enough sunbeds for all and a lovely bar fir food and drink. We took the tram from Port Soller to Soller and had a wonderful meal of suckling pig at a restaurant up s side street (this was pre-booked). One if the highlights was going to Deia to C’as Patro Marche restaurant and if you’ve seen The Night Manager you would recognise it once there. We hired a boat to take us and collect us - the food, ambiance, staff and service were excellent but the boat trip topped it off. Just a 20min ride to Deia and organised through the concierge who advised who to see at the Port. This restaurant needs to be pre-booked and only takes bookings 2 weeks prior to your date and you have to call. You will not be disappointed with this hotel it’s up there with the best. Note there are lots of steps but plenty of lifts.…
