Beautiful old home. The house was immaculately clean and the host very nice. The food was phenomenal. Our questions about the house were answered and also her knowledge of the Galena area was extremely helpfull. We spent much time sitting on the porch enjoying the beautiful weather and view of the garden. I would definitely go back.

Annie Wiggins Guest House is a beautifully restored property. We stayed in Sara's Room that was charming with a fireplace and private bath. Just outside the door is a covered porch and sitting area overlooking the garden. Breakfast was in a lovely dining room filled with antiques. We were served a tasty stuffed French toast, ham, fresh fruit, orange juice... More

My daughter and I stayed at Annie Wiggins Guest House for two nights(27-29) and it was wonderful. We stayed in Jennie's Room. It was very clean and big enough for our purpose. The air conditioner kept our room at a nice temperature. The breakfast was delicious and since Mrs. Wiggins knew I was gluten free she made breakfast that I... More

A really great bed and breakfast. Though it is a little outside of downtown it is easily walkable and is close enough to everything. The breakfast is good and the rooms and house are beautiful. It was an amazing place to stay for a getaway in Galena.

We were greeted by Wendy at the door with a warm smile and welcome. She showed us around the beautiful home and provided information about the rooms and meals and how to enter and leave during our stay. We settled in and since the weather was cold and rainy we spent some time in the parlor talking with our friends.... More

I have stayed here twice. So pretty and the rooms are wonderful. In the sitting room we had chocolate chip cookies and brandy, It was delicious! The outdoor frig was stocked with drinks like lemonade. I cant think of the first floor room we had maybe Hanna? Lovely with yellow walls and red accents. The hot tub was large and... More

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in Annie Wiggins from 9/6 thru the morning of 9/11/2015 as part of our 40th wedding anniversary. We had a pleasant time in Galena and our brief breakfast sharing with other guests went well. All nice folk. We did have some discomfort when we arrived and found our room was only accessible from... My husband and I met my sister and her husband. The location is just right - very near downtown but off on a quiet street. We had a great time conversing in the Parlor when they arrived the first evening. Wendy had made fresh gingersnap cookies - yum! This is such a comfortable place - like home - only with... More

This is a remarkable place to stay. Wendy & Bill are great innkeepers. The breakfasts are fantastic and delicious. She is always coming up with new ideas for guests to eat. This is not your typical B & B boring breakfast! The rooms are decorated to the 9's. There is always something new that you can look at each stay.... More

This was our first visit to Galena and we were pleasantly surprised with our accommodations and the local community. The Annie Wiggins Guest House was very charming and we had a comfortable stay. The front and back porch areas are nice places to relax with a glass of wine in the evening. The location is near the Galena River trail... More
